Lucky XIII joins the affiliate programme. A warm welcome to this CS2 tournament organiser

- -

The SuperionGG affiliate programme is constantly evolving, and another project focused on building an active Counter-Strike 2 community has joined the ranks of our partners. This time, it is with great pleasure that we welcome Lucky XIII… The organiser of the regular Lucky 13 CUP tournaments, whose main aim is to create a space for healthy competition, good fun and bringing together players from across the Polish scene.

Although the project has only been running for a relatively short time, it has already held two successful editions of the tournament, both of which were very well received. The organiser emphasises that, from the very beginning, their primary aim has been to provide participants with positive experiences and the opportunity to test their skills in a friendly yet challenging atmosphere. The high level of interest in registrations shows that this format meets the community’s expectations, and places for the next tournament are filling up very quickly.

Lucky XIII also actively collaborates with Underground | CS2 Community… and makes no secret of the fact that it plans to develop the entire project as future editions take place. In the future, the tournaments are set to offer not only an even higher standard of organisation, but also additional benefits for participants. It is initiatives like these that best demonstrate that the Polish CS2 scene is constantly evolving. Among other things, it is attracting new organisers willing to invest their time in creating valuable events.

We’re delighted that Lucky XIII is joining our partner programme. We believe that our collaboration will enable us to promote the tournaments even more effectively. Above all, it will help us reach an even greater number of teams looking to compete at amateur and semi-professional levels.

Two successful editions of Lucky XIII demonstrate the project’s potential

The best confirmation that Lucky XIII is developing in the right direction is the two completed editions of the Lucky 13 CUP tournament. Despite its relatively short history, the project has already managed to attract many teams interested in taking part in the competition. Meanwhile, the organiser emphasises that the remaining places are being snapped up very quickly. This is a clear sign that the community has responded positively to the initiative and is keen to take part in future events.

The first edition of the tournament ended in victory for Husaria Esports, who defeated Ignis Five 2–0 in a best-of-three (BO3) grand final. Third place went to LUNACY NXT, who were awarded a walkover victory following the withdrawal of Awaken. Although the conclusion of the battle for the lowest step on the podium was not the ideal scenario, the organiser efficiently saw the entire edition through to the end and had already announced the next tournament at that stage.

The second edition confirmed that the project was not a one-off event. This time, the m0kAsYny team claimed the title, whilst second place went to Gramy dla Adama. The third-place play-off ultimately did not take place, meaning that Ananaski Esports claimed the lowest step on the podium.

Following the conclusion of the tournament, the organiser announced that they would analyse the second edition and introduce improvements and updates designed to further streamline future tournaments. Details regarding the start of the next instalment of the Lucky 13 CUP are to be announced well in advance. This approach demonstrates that the project is being developed step by step, taking into account the experience gained and feedback from participants.

Ambitious plans for the future and the further development of the initiative

From the outset, Lucky XIII has emphasised that having fun remains the most important aspect of the tournaments it organises. Alongside this is the aim of creating a space where teams can compete in a friendly atmosphere. This does not, however, mean a lack of ambition. Quite the contrary… The organiser aims to systematically develop the project so that each subsequent edition is better prepared than the last.

Plans include further refining the competition format, improving event organisation, and building an even larger community centred around the Lucky 13 CUP. The aim is to create a series of tournaments that will be associated with a high standard of organisation and a positive atmosphere. In future, participants can also look forward to additional benefits associated with taking part in the competitions. Although the details remain a secret for now.

Interestingly, Lucky XIII does not intend to limit itself solely to Counter-Strike 2. The organiser has revealed that it is also considering organising tournaments in Call of Duty: Warzone. The project is currently at the concept stage. However, it shows that the organisation is looking to further expand its activities and reach new groups of players.

Here at SuperionGG, we’re delighted to be able to support further projects that help develop the Polish esports scene. We believe that our partnership with Lucky XIII will be beneficial for both parties. But above all, it will benefit the community, which will gain even more opportunities to compete together. We look forward to following the development of future editions of the Lucky 13 CUP and are keeping our fingers crossed for the continued success of the entire project.

Together, we’re developing the Polish Counter-Strike 2 scene

Every new initiative that engages the community and encourages more teams to compete actively is of immense importance for the development of the Polish Counter-Strike 2 scene. Lucky XIII has already proven, during its first two editions, that even a young project can attract the interest of many teams and create an event to which players are keen to return.

We are confident that, through our partnership, Lucky XIII will be able to reach new participants even more effectively and develop further tournaments. The organisers certainly face many challenges, but also many opportunities that could lead to the continued growth of the entire project. We warmly welcome Lucky XIII to our circle of partners and wish them every success in organising future editions of the Lucky 13 CUP. We look forward to hearing more soon about exciting matches, new initiatives and the organiser’s continued successes.
