We are now back with another report, which covers their most recent matches and their position ahead of the upcoming play-offs. The recent matches have brought both moments of triumph and bitter disappointments, which could play a key role in the final standings.
An unfortunate start to the series
The first of the matches ended in a walkover – the players from under the star failed to show up on the server, which meant an automatic defeat and a drop in their record from 5-3 to 5-4. This start without a game meant that the pressure ahead of the next clashes increased significantly.
Such situations, though difficult, can serve as an important organisational lesson. In professional competitions, it is not only sporting form that counts, but also punctuality and logistical preparation.
Back on the winning track
In their next match, the team had the chance to bounce back from a poor start. On the de_train map, they managed to secure a 13-11 victory (vs NPC), though it was far from easy. Their opponents made life difficult, and the score remained tight for a long time.
Ultimately, it was the academy that kept their cool in the crucial rounds, allowing them to bag valuable points and regain faith in their abilities.

Strong start on Nuke
The next match brought a more convincing victory – this time on de_nuke. The 13:7 result (vs Zentrix Nova) shows that the team can dominate their opponents when everything goes according to plan.
On this map, the whole squad displayed particularly good teamwork, smooth rotations and effective communication. Performances like this lay the foundations for consistent form for the rest of the season.

Defeat after a thrilling match
The fourth match only ended after overtime on de_train, with a score of 20:22 (vs PPG Clan). It was a tense match in which every mistake mattered immensely.
Despite a spirited fight and numerous chances to close out the match, luck was not on Young Stars Academy’s side this time. Matches like this stick in the memory, but at the same time they show that the team is capable of holding its own against demanding opponents.

A crushing defeat in a fratricidal clash
The final match of the series took place on the de_mirage map and was a friendly clash against a partner team. The 3:13 result (vs ViBe Gaming) was clearly unfavourable and exposed weaknesses in Young Stars Academy’s play.
The opponents took the initiative from the very first rounds, and attempts to turn the match around ended in failure. Such a defeat hurts, but it could also become a turning point that motivates the team to improve.
