Season 12 of Arrmy is flying by. We’ve only just been writing about the first few matches, and now most teams have just four games left before the playoffs. The Hussars are well on their way to the playoffs, currently sitting in first place in Arrmy Rising after six matches.
Who stood in the Hussars’ way in their recent matches?
On Wednesday, the Hussars faced Retrogradacja Jowisza. In this match, our partner were the undisputed favourites. They showed why that was the case, winning 13–3 and giving their opponents no chance. Thanks to this victory, they added a fourth win to their tally.

On Friday, the Hussars faced the ATP team, and this match decided who would take first place in the Rising division table, as ATP had a 5:0 record. It began with the Hussars winning the pistol round, putting them 2:0 ahead. When they extended their lead by another point, their opponents decided to respond with a single round, after which our team went back to building their advantage. The turning point came at 5:1, when ATP pulled themselves together and tried to level the score. The Hussars wouldn’t let that happen, finishing the half 8:4.
A winning pistol round took the Hussars to 10-4, a lead they soon extended to 11 points. The opponents responded, but with just one round, after which we saw seven match rounds. ATP tried with all their might to force extra time, but in the final round, which would have decided whether we would see it, they fell short and the victory was credited to the Hussars.

How is the academy faring?
The academy is keeping pace with the first team and has a 6-0 record in the Army Open, putting them in 6th place in the table. They are therefore well on their way to securing a place in the play-offs and the battle for promotion to higher divisions.
