As we mentioned in our last article, we are delighted to be working with the organisers of the Feather Cup tournament as a media partner. In my opinion, it looks set to be one of the most exciting events on the Polish Counter-Strike 2 scene.
We’ve recently learnt the details regarding the first stage of the competition, the group stage. The full list of participants and the group draw have been revealed, so the excitement is really starting to build!
Soon, you’ll be able to follow live coverage of the entire tournament via this link [https://superion.gg/feather-cup/s1]. Due to the recent technical break, we’re running slightly behind schedule, but everything should be ready in time for the first matches to begin.
So, what do the Feather Cup groups look like?
As you can see from the images above, the Feather Cup group stage has been divided into four groups, each comprising six teams. It’s worth noting, however, that there has been one significant change: Knaga Nebiasz’s team was unfortunately unable to take part in the tournament after all. In their place, Vortex eSports have joined the competition, automatically taking their spot in the group.
Incidentally, this is my own team, which I have the pleasure of leading as its founder and co-creator. We’re delighted to have been given the chance to take part in this event and we’ll certainly be giving it our all!
Below is the updated and official group stage draw. This is how the opening phase of the Feather Cup competition looks:
- Group A
- 2HeaveN
- Vortex eSports
- Team Fairus
- Nisla Rakov
- Easy Frags
- Lunacy Gaming

The teams will have a week – from 7 to 14 July – to play all their group stage matches. After this intense stage, we’ll find out which teams will progress to the next round and compete for the title of champion of the first edition of the Feather Cup. It’s worth noting that, despite there being no entry fee, the organisers have put together a modest but motivating prize pool of 300 zł.
From the organisers’ perspective, Groups A and D are likely to provide the most excitement. In Group D, a genuine derby is on the cards between X-Nation and X-Nation AC, which is sure to ramp up the competitive atmosphere. Group A, on the other hand, looks very strong; it features several teams with potential, and there’s no shortage of familiar names. For my part, I’ll also be following Group C with interest, as it includes several of our partners. Speaking of partners, these include Team Fairus, Gloris eSports, Dr Esports and Excurity Gaming. We’re delighted that they’re part of this event and will have the chance to showcase their skills on the server as they battle for the title. Their presence is a source of pride for us and adds an extra layer of excitement when following the matches.
Looking at the tournament as a whole, the organisers realise that not everything will go smoothly, but they are determined to ensure the highest possible quality and efficient organisation. Here’s what they have to say about the first phase and their plans moving forward:
We hope that the first phase – the group stage – will proceed quickly and without any major issues. We’re aware that we’re bound to encounter problems and that this edition won’t be the easiest, but we’ll do our utmost to ensure this edition runs as smoothly and quickly as possible; we’re taking into account the timeframe within which we’re organising it and hope that this won’t hinder anyone’s participation in the competition. We have the potential and are confident that we’ll manage to secure a few more partnerships; from the start of August, we’ll be preparing for the next edition.

We’ve got an intense week ahead of us, full of excitement, competition and surprises. This is only the beginning of the Feather Cup, but it’s already clear that it holds considerable potential, both in terms of sport and organisation. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for all the teams, especially our partners and, of course, Vortex eSports.
