There haven’t been many articles about YNG SKiLLZ on our website in recent months. However, this does not mean that the organisation has slowed down or stopped developing its projects. Quite the opposite! Its main area of activity remains the EA FC scene, which, unfortunately, we are unable to cover regularly due to the lack of an editor specialising in this game.
However, we do not want this to mean that we completely overlook our partners. All the more so because YNG SKiLLZ is not just about competition on virtual pitches. Some time ago, we reported on their six-a-side team, which plays on real pitches. Now the organisation is once again expanding its sporting activities. This time, we’re focusing on a brand-new initiative: the formation of a volleyball team, which is joining the YNG sporting family!
YNG SKiLLZ is joining forces with WKS Śląsk Wrocław!
Recent weeks have also brought significant news regarding the organisation’s main area of activity, namely the EA FC division. The start of the new instalment in the series, FC 27, was indeed a special moment for YNG SKiLLZ. For the first time in three years, the organisation did not publish its standard announcement regarding its EA FC Clubs section. As it turned out, however, this was not a sign that the project was coming to an end, but rather the result of preparations for something much bigger.
In early November, YNG SKiLLZ dispelled all doubts by announcing a partnership with WKS Śląsk Wrocław. It is in the colours of Śląsk Wrocław that the organisation’s representatives will compete on the virtual pitches in FC 27. As a result, the division’s activities to date have taken a new direction. Meanwhile, the players have been given the opportunity to represent a well-recognised brand in Polish football.
The announcement is also significant for Śląsk Wrocław itself, as the club is returning to esports competition after a five-year hiatus. For the club, this marks the reopening of a chapter in virtual football, whilst for YNG SKiLLZ it presents an opportunity to participate in this venture and further develop its players.
It is worth emphasising that the partnership is not limited solely to a change of name or the logos displayed by the players. This marks the next stage in the division’s activities, having regularly represented YNG on the EA FC Clubs scene in recent years. The players now face a new challenge, this time under the banner of one of the most recognisable football clubs in Lower Silesia.
The organisation has also announced that further updates regarding the partnership will be posted on its social media profiles. All that remains, then, is to follow the progress of this project and look forward to the first appearances of the YNG SKiLLZ players in the colours of WKS Śląsk Wrocław.
YNG SKiLLZ expands its sporting activities
Esports organisations are increasingly seeking opportunities for growth beyond computer games themselves. YNG SKiLLZ is no exception… They consistently demonstrate that friendly competition can also extend into the real world. Although most of the organisation’s activities are primarily associated with the EA FC scene, its work does not end on virtual pitches. A good example is the Six-a-Side Team, which has been in operation for some time and has allowed YNG representatives to test their skills in conditions completely different from those familiar in esports competitions.
Now it is time to take the next step. The organisation has announced the formation of a Volleyball Team, which will join the ranks of YNG representatives competing in traditional sports. This is an interesting expansion of its existing activities, particularly as volleyball requires a completely different kind of teamwork to computer games. Communication, trust in teammates, good teamwork and the ability to react to changing situations on the court will be just as important here as the individual skills of each player.
The new section will operate as part of the TrenujSiate.pl platform, which brings together people interested in volleyball, offering a space for training sessions, matches, tournaments and camps for amateurs. This will enable YNG SKiLLZ players to develop their skills and test themselves against other enthusiasts of the sport.
It is worth noting that this is not a one-off initiative, but another element of the organisation’s sporting activities. Alongside projects related to EA FC and the six-a-side team, this presents another opportunity to represent YNG. In doing so, the organisation is expanding its presence beyond the world of esports, giving its players the chance to pursue their sporting interests at traditional venues as well.
Meet the line-up of the new volleyball team!
Above all, every new division needs people to represent it. In the case of the YNG SKiLLZ volleyball project, we have already met the full squad of eleven players who have been given the chance to play under the organisation’s banner. The squad has been put together to cover various positions on the court. This means that individual players will be able to take on different roles during matches.
In reception, we’ll see Kuba Głowacki and Wiktor Stanik, whilst Dawid Bondyr will combine this role with playing as an attacker. Adam Kołdon is similarly versatile, having been assigned to both reception and centre-court duties. It is in this latter position that several other players will feature. Among them are Piotr Zaklika, Szymon Żurek and Jakub Kaczmarczyk, who will be responsible for playing in the middle.
There are also players responsible for organising the build-up play and shoring up the defence. The role of setter has been entrusted to Kacper Krawczyk, whilst Piotr Musiał will combine this role with playing as libero. In the latter position, we will also see Bartek Krawczyk, who will round off the team’s defensive line-up. Meanwhile, Jan Jędrusiak will also be responsible for the attack.
It is worth noting the variety of positions in the new line-up. Some players will be able to fulfil more than one role, which gives the team additional options in terms of formation and tailoring the line-up to specific needs. Of course, the list of names is just the beginning. The most important thing will be to develop effective teamwork, build chemistry on the pitch and work together to strengthen the new section.
The full starting eleven is as follows: Kuba Głowacki, Dawid Bondyra, Adam Kołdon, Piotr Zaklika, Bartek Krawczyk, Kacper Krawczyk, Jan Jędrusiak, Wiktor Stanik, Piotr Musiał, Szymon Żurek and Jakub Kaczmarczyk. It is they who will represent YNG SKiLLZ in volleyball competitions.
The next step in the development of YNG SKiLLZ
The formation of a volleyball team is another exciting development relating to our partners’ activities. Although YNG SKiLLZ is primarily associated with competition in EA FC on a day-to-day basis, the organisation is proving that it has ambitions to expand beyond the esports scene as well. The six-a-side team was the first example of this approach… Now, however, another section is joining it, which will have the opportunity to make its mark on the volleyball courts.
All that remains is for us to wish all eleven players the best of luck, excellent team chemistry and, above all, many successful matches in their new colours. We hope we’ll be able to report on their exploits on many more occasions, and that the new division will quickly find its place within the sporting community. For our part, we also promise to keep a closer eye on YNG SKiLLZ, because, as you can see, there’s definitely plenty to write about!
