The 59th season of the ESEA League is proving increasingly thrilling, and our partner CS2 teams are showing no signs of slowing down. The players have had another few weeks of competition, which were full of spectacular victories, fierce battles and challenging moments. Some teams can be pleased with their form, whilst others will be keen to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. Let’s take a look at how Panico eSports, PEST Esport, NPK Esport, MASURIA ESPORT, Lunacy Gaming, VoFoxen, Hussars and POLteam RED have fared recently.
ESEA Main – Hussars return to winning ways, VoFoxen with mixed results
Hussars
Hussars began the period in question with an 8–13 defeat to 3Nation on Ancient. Their next opponent was Sicarios, who also proved the better side, winning 13–6 on Inferno. Fortunately, their final match yielded a much better result. On 3 November, Hussars defeated YoD eSports 13–4 on Nuke, ending this stage with a victory.
VoFoxen Esport
VoFoxen had a few challenging matches behind them. The team started with a 16–13 victory over KDA Team on Ancient. A day later, however, GAMESPORT proved the better side, winning 16–13 on Mirage. On 29 October, VoFoxen returned to winning ways, defeating nowheretorun 13–5 on Nuke. The match against MAYAK ARENA was postponed until 9 November, so we’ll have to wait a little longer for the result.
ESEA Intermediate – Panico with a perfect record, NPK level on points, MASURIA ESPORT IN VARYING FORM
Panico eSports
Panico eSports began this stage with a walkover victory against GeirH. A day later, the team secured another full set of points, this time following a walkover against Mumloidi roku. Their third opponent was XRoc Junior. Panico proved their superiority on the server, winning 13–9 on Anubis.
PEST Esport
PEST Esport had a more challenging run. The team lost 5–13 to KEKIS on Dust II. They then beat MONUMENT ESPORT 13–9 on Ancient, but subsequently lost to Pusgalvia 2–13 and to 2krovno 2–13. The team will need to work on their consistency to start picking up points again in their upcoming matches.
NPK Esport
NPK Esport had two important matches to play. The first was against Los Espada, which our team won 13–10 on Ancient. The next match proved to be much more difficult. On 3 November, NPK faced DH Premium, losing 8–13 on Cache. Ultimately, the team ended up with a mixed record of one win and one defeat.
MASURIA ESPORT
MASURIA ESPORT had the most intense run of fixtures of all our teams in this division. The team began with a 7–13 defeat to Sleepers on Anubis, followed by a walkover victory against GN MANAGEMENT. Their next opponent was GLORE, who won 13–6.
MASURIA ESPORT then lost 8–13 to MINKENS SHOOTERS, but quickly bounced back with a 13–9 victory over Ananasiki on Mirage. Another walkover, this time against 4EYEs, allowed the team to add further points to their tally.
However, the end of October brought further difficulties. Defeats to KAMKGG 9–13 and Prestige Academy 9–13 did little to improve the team’s situation. Fortunately, on 3 November, MASURIA ESPORT returned to winning ways, defeating Connector One 13–5 on Ancient.
ESEA Entry – POLteam RED with a good record, but not a perfect finish
POLteam RED can count this period as a fairly successful one. The team started with a 13–11 victory over Team aAa on Cache. Two days later, they recorded another 13–11 result, this time against Vectorix Gaming.
Their final opponent was gothboiclique. The match was a real nail-biter, as the result was decided by just two rounds. Unfortunately, this time their rivals proved to be the better side, winning 16–14 on Cache. POLteam finished this stage with two wins and one defeat.
ESEA Open10 – Lunacy Gaming looking for a way to turn things around
Lunacy Gaming had played three matches in the Open10 division. Their first opponent was EKMEK UCU SEVENLER, against whom Lunacy secured a walkover victory.
Two days later, the team faced mOtObL0K. This time, their opponents proved the better side, winning 13:5 on Mirage. The next match took place on 2 November, with Dobeg Gaming as the opponent. Unfortunately, Lunacy Gaming had to concede defeat once again, losing 11–13 on Anubis.
More league challenges lie ahead
The final rounds of the 59th ESEA season have shown that our partners have no shortage of excitement and tough opponents. Special mention must go to Panico eSports for their perfect record in this round, as well as NPK Esport and POLteam RED, who also recorded positive results.
The remaining teams will be looking to improve on their results so far and fight for more league points. The season is still underway, and our teams still have plenty of opportunities to showcase their skills. All that remains is to keep our fingers crossed for more successful performances and look forward to the next esports thrills!
