We recently reported on Atom Esports’ position at the bottom of the VPG Polska second division table. We have some good news and some bad news for Atom Esports fans. The good news is that Atom Esports is no longer in the relegation zone at the moment, and the bad news is that they are still in the lower half of the table and must continue to fight to secure their place in the division.
On 6 March, Atom Esports hosted teams such as OKS Otwock e-Sport, FC Shadow Stars and Imperial Dragons. They started the day with a 2-1 win over Imperial Dragons, but then, unfortunately, suffered two defeats: 0-3 against FC Shadow Stars and 2-4 against OKS Otwock e-Sports.
- 2-1 | Imperial Dragons (W)
- 0–3 | FC Shadow Stars (L)
- 2:4 | OKS Otwock e-Sports (L)
Three points out of a possible nine – for a team fighting to avoid relegation, that’s probably a reasonably good result.
Atom currently sits 17th in the VPG Poland Second Division league table. Two wins, two draws and nine defeats give them a total of eight points. Behind them are clubs such as Wózki eSport, in 18th place with seven points, and FURIOZA (in 19th) with four points, whilst SpartEagle sit bottom of the table with zero points. The gap to 17th place is down solely to goal difference, which Casual Kickers have the better of; Atom would need to score 11 goals, assuming they concede none, to overtake Casual Kickers. Both these teams trail 14th and 15th-placed Corner Club and Brda Przechlewo eSport by 5 points.
Today at 20:40, Atom Esports face another match, away to Loco Villanos. They are likely to play this match today as it was rescheduled from another day. However, by tomorrow everything should be back to normal and they will return with three matches against: BanditosFC, FURIOZA and Corner Club.
- 9/03/2025, 20:40 | Loco Villanos (A)
- 10/03/2025, 20:15 | Banditos FC (A)
- 10/03/2025, 20:40 | FURIOZA (H)
- 10/03/2025, 21:05 | Corner Club (H)
