Although the 13th season of Arrma kicked off a week ago, we’re catching up on our coverage of the underground scene, following a slight delay caused by a technical break. So now we’ll be taking a look at POLteam’s performances, as they’re competing in the Open division this season. It’s only the start of the competition, but the first few matches already give us a glimpse of the team’s form and a rough idea of the general direction they might take in the coming rounds. Without further ado, let’s get down to business.
A brilliant start or a painful false start? POLteam after two rounds of the Arrma Open
POLteam began the new season in the Open division with two wins, although the two matches unfolded quite differently. The first match ended in a technical walkover, giving the team a confident start, whilst the second was a full-fledged and decidedly one-sided contest. At this stage, the team can boast a clean sweep of wins and a fairly good round record, which secures them a solid position at the top of the league table and offers hope for further good results in the coming rounds.
Nexium POLteam 1–0 Pomidory | walkover
In the first round, POLteam were due to face the pomidory side, but the match ultimately did not take place. The fixture was settled by a walkover in favour of Nexium POLteam, which formally ensured the team a comfortable start to the season. Although the result gives cause for optimism, it is worth noting that the team won just one round. Given the closely contested nature of the league, such a record does not inspire confidence and clearly shows that the team still has a lot of work to do to consolidate its position.
Nexium POLteam 13:2 FC Powylewce | Dust 2
In the second round, POLteam faced FC Powylewce on the Dust 2 map. It could be said that this was, in fact, Nexium POLteam’s first match of the season that actually went ahead. The match turned out to be extremely one-sided, with the team dominating from the very start, demonstrating good organisation, communication and effectiveness in executing their tactics. The 13:2 scoreline speaks for itself and clearly shows who controlled the flow of the game on one of the most demanding maps in the competition.
This convincing victory should allow POLteam to maintain a strong position in the table, as well as build confidence ahead of their upcoming matches. If the team maintains this form, it could become one of the leading sides in the Open division and a serious contender for promotion to a higher league.
Although the season is only just getting underway, it is already clear that POLteam is capable of rising to the challenge and competing effectively in the Open division. The team still has a long road ahead, full of thrilling matches that will put their form and ambitions for this season to the test. Every round presents a new opportunity to refine their style of play, learn valuable lessons and prove that they can not only win, but do so with class and character.
It’s therefore well worth keeping a close eye on their future performances, as the team has the potential to pleasantly surprise the fans and lay solid foundations for future success.
