Unfortunately, VoFoxen cannot count the last two rounds of the ESEA Entry as successful, but as some people say, “After the storm, the sun always comes out”. After three matches, VoFoxen have a record of 1-2. It is worth noting that this is the team’s first season in the ESEA. They played their opening match against Camping Kitchen (now M0vez Drag0ns). Their opponents were from France.
Our partner was, of course, the favourite in this match, and the result speaks for itself. The match took place on Inferno. Our partners won the first half 8-4. In the second half, they needed just five rounds to close out the match. The opponents managed to win only four rounds, and the match ended with a 13-8 victory for VoFoxen.
The individual performance of the opposing team’s player “Aieclakx”, who achieved a 1.4 KD Ratio (21/15), wasn’t even enough to force extra time. VoFoxen, on the other hand, performed equally well as a team, though Ch4mE1EoN’s KD ratio in this match, which stood at exactly 2.00, is particularly noteworthy.

An exciting clash with FiveViewersMax
Even if only five people watched this match, they were certainly satisfied with how it went – assuming they weren’t just watching to see who won. Even before it started, the match looked set to be a closely contested one. The map we were treated to was Mirage. Just like in the first match, VoFoxen won the first half, but this time they secured one round fewer than in the previous match, 7:5.
The second half ended with the same score, but unfortunately the other way round, and the match went to overtime. Unfortunately, this wasn’t as good as the first half for our partner, as VoFoxen won only one round across the two halves of overtime. They suffered their first defeat in ESEA Entry with a score of 13–16.

Euforia
Last Wednesday, they faced off against Euphoria, a team made up mostly of Russian players. Much like the clash with FiveViewersMax, this match promised to be a close contest. Although there wasn’t a single overtime round, it was certainly a thrilling affair. The entire match was played on Nuke. After the first half, the score was 8–4 in favour of our partners. So what went wrong? In the second half, the Russian team won nine rounds, meaning the match ended 13–11.
The VoFoxen squad will certainly be talking about that first half for some time to come, and perhaps the form of one of their opponents (26/11, 1.86 KDR). This is only the start of the ESEA season, and there are still many rounds to go, so nothing is lost yet; however, it is important to reach the peak of one’s abilities at the right moment, and that is exactly what we wish for VoFoxen.

Entry S53, Round 3 |
After three matches, VoFoxen have a record of 1-2. It’s not a great start, but it’s not a bad one either. It would have been far worse if they’d started with a 0-3 record. However, it’s not the start that counts, it’s the finish. A good example of this is Armitra Esports in previous seasons, where they started with worse records but still managed to turn things around.
Tomorrow’s chance to even the score
Tomorrow at 8.30 pm, VoFoxen will face ‘FChrza’, a Finnish team currently sitting on a 2-1 record. It’s hard to pick a clear favourite for this match, but given the records, we’d tip the underdogs this time. However, the beauty of this game is that the favourites don’t always win.
