ESEA Intermediate: How did our partners get on?

The 52nd ESEA season is now behind us, a season full of excitement and fierce competition. Many of our partners took to the fray at various levels of this prestigious league, facing demanding opponents. Today we’ll focus on those who competed in the Intermediate division – we’ll analyse how they fared throughout the season.

Armitra certainly had a difficult start to the season – their journey has been full of challenges. At the start of the season, Jaster moved to the ESC Academy, forcing the team to temporarily replace him with their coach, Pr3lo. Despite these setbacks, the team not only refused to give up but actually emerged from the crisis stronger. Following the arrival of Wh1te and Mrouz, Armitra reached the play-offs and ultimately secured promotion to the Main Division. As things stand, the match against Hussars is now merely a formality.

Unfortunately, Constrict Gaming failed to qualify for the play-offs. They came up against tough opponents who proved too strong, and despite putting up a spirited fight, they were left empty-handed. Their match against the well-known Emeryci attracted particular attention from Polish fans, but even in that clash, Constrict had to concede defeat to their opponents.

SLAKE managed to qualify for the play-offs, but their run came to a swift end. They lost their first match, and due to the absence of an opponent, they automatically won their match in the lower bracket. They then managed to secure one more victory, but ultimately, after four matches, they were knocked out of the tournament.

Hussars, much like Armitra, have shown their class this season and secured promotion to the Main division. Although they faced many tough opponents along the way, they managed to reach the play-offs, which they began without an opponent. However, this did not throw them off their stride – it was only at a later stage that they faced an opponent who pushed them into the lower bracket. There, however, the Hussars demonstrated their dominance, and now all that remains is for them to see out the competition. Their first challenge on this path will be a clash with Armitra.
