The new, 59th season of ESEA is officially upon us, and Counter-Strike 2 teams have once again begun their battle for promotion, good results and the chance to compete against an increasingly strong field. Of course, we couldn’t leave out the partner teams, which we’ll be discussing today
ESEA Main – VoFoxen are aiming for the top
The highest-ranked of our partner teams is VoFoxen Esport, which is playing in the Main league – ESEA’s second-highest division – where promotion to the top Advanced division, home to professional teams, is at stake. This is their first season in the Main division, but let’s hope they do as well as possible, despite facing stronger teams than in the Intermediate division
It is in the Main division that the competition is at its fiercest, and every match can bring teams closer to – or further away from – their long-awaited promotion to the finals. VoFoxen Esport face a tough challenge, but if they pull themselves together, they have a chance to cause an upset in this competition.
ESEA Intermediate – PEST Esport and Panico eSports begin their battle for the next step
One division below, in Intermediate, we have two teams: PEST Esport and Panico eSports. Panico eSports qualified from Open10, finishing in 33rd–48th place. PEST Esport, on the other hand, will be looking to improve on their performance following a rather disappointing 58th season, where they finished with a record of 5W/9L
The main prize in ESEA Intermediate is promotion to ESEA Main or Advanced, where the season’s finals will also take place, with the best teams battling it out for VRS
Neither PEST Esport nor PANICO eSports have the easiest of tasks; let’s hope they manage to secure as many wins as possible in ESEA Intermediate
ESEA Entry and Open10 – NPK Esport and VoFoxen Prospects are embarking on their journey
There are also two teams in the lowest ESEA divisions. The first is NPK Esport, who were promoted from Open10 to the Entry division last season after finishing 128th–196th in the play-offs. The second is VoFoxen Prospects, for whom Season 59 marks their debut in ESEA competition. For the VoFoxen academy, this could be a great opportunity to gain experience and refine their gameplay as a team.
This is just the start of the ESEA season, but both teams are sure to provide plenty of excitement throughout the campaign. Let’s hope it’s all positive
New Season, New Challenges
As such, the 59th ESEA season promises to be extremely interesting for all our partner teams. In this edition, we’ll see teams competing at various levels – from Main, through Intermediate and Entry, right down to Open10.
VoFoxen Esport has secured the highest position in the league hierarchy and will compete in the Main division. Panico eSports and PEST Esport will play their matches in the Intermediate division, whilst NPK Esport will begin their campaign in the Entry division. Bringing up the rear is VoFoxen Prospects, for whom this will be an opportunity to gain valuable experience in Open10.
Each team has different goals ahead of them, but they are all united by a desire to develop and fight for the best possible results. We have many matches, thrills and crucial moments ahead of us, which may determine the future fortunes of our partners.
We wish everyone the best of luck in the 59th ESEA season and are keeping our fingers crossed for the best possible results!
