A POOR START AND A BREAK

The start of the 17th season of ArrMY OPEN didn’t go too well for NPK E-SPORT. WIGLA E-SPORT proved the better side in their clash on de_Nuke, leaving the NPK lads with a 0–1 record… It wasn’t the start they’d been hoping for.
They needed to bounce back quickly and stabilise the situation… Quickly? They did! Calmly? Not quite. Another two matches without a single win. After the first three rounds, they’re unfortunately sitting on a 1-2 record. We’re now looking forward to the next matches.

NPK E-SPORT 6:13 WIGLA E-SPORT
NPK E-SPORT 0:1 PAPA JACOS

A CLEAN SHEET!

The only team we can mention in this article did everything perfectly! Three matches, three wins. We’re talking, of course, about VOFOXEN PROSPECTS – the academy of the VOFOXEN project!
For their opening match of ArrMY’s 17th season, the academy had to face WKEYENJOYERS; as is typical in the Polish underground scene, they were drawn to the de_ancient map – arguably the one most frequently played by our community in recent rounds. Naturally, in this case, it couldn’t have been any different: a swift rout, conceding just two points to the opponents and a so-called ‘GG’!
The second match provided us with more excitement. Unfortunately, it was de_Ancient again… The Academy faced off against VOFOXEN, representing PLAY FOR WIN! In this match, the name didn’t do them any favours, as the game ended in a 13–7 victory for the Academy.

Do you actually like Sudoku? Because a team with a similar name – SOKUDO, to be precise – turned up in the Academy’s most recent match so far! All in all, playing Sudoku is a bit time-consuming, though we can’t say the same about the match on de_anubis, where – just like in the first round – we saw a 13:2 result in favour of VOFOXEN PROSPECTS!

VOFOXEN PROSPECTS 13–2 WKEYENJOYERS
VOFOXEN PROSPECTS 13–7 PLAY FOR WIN
VOFOXEN PROSPECTS 13–2 SOKUDO

ANOTHER VOFOXEN DIVISION IN ACTION!

We have yet another VOFOXEN division in the ArrMY OPEN! This time, the lads playing under the RISING banner took on MADEINBRZEZINKI in the first of two rounds. They were the only team in the entire article to have played just two rounds. The match against MADEINBRZEZINKI ended in a 13:7 victory on the toxic de_nuke map!
A two-day break, and then the second round, this time against CART00N! The first match went to extra time, packed with excitement and twists and turns. It was quite a shock to see so much action on de_Mirage. The final score was 16–13! GG!

VOFOXEN RISING 13–7 MADEINBRZEZINKI
VOFOXEN RISING 16:13 CART00N

ARRMY’S E-SPORT HIGHWAY!

Another team with a 3:0 record in the OPEN division of the ARRMY league! Probably the quickest way to secure three map wins!
The league got off to a fairly smooth start, literally down to a 2 vs LOS CASTEROS match. A confident win on the national map. They were already on a roll, and then suddenly a let-down – a walkover win against AKADEMIA MAMM0NA!
Round three, and the hand of God was watching over the match; unfortunately, it didn’t help the KLAPKI MOJŻESZA team in their attempt to beat PEST E-SPORT – they got a bit carried away and had to concede defeat to PEST with a score of 5–13. Clearly, the wasps have stung MOJŻESZ!

PEST E-SPORT 13–2 LOS CASTEROS
PEST E-SPORT 1–0 AKADEMIA MAMM0NA
PEST E-SPORT 13–5 KLAPKI MOJŻESZA

WHAT’S NEW AT VOFOXEN ESPORT IN THE ARRMY MASTERS

The last few days haven’t been too pleasant for VOFOXEN’s main division… Unfortunately, they’re currently 0-2!
We saw the first match on the de_Anubis map, where, unfortunately, the UWUZA100SM team didn’t stand a chance, conceding just 4 points and ending the match with a score of 13:4.
After that match, all the lads could do was lie down and rest, as a clash on 4WB2 awaited them the very next day. It looked promising, but unfortunately not enough to secure a victory. It’s a shame. The final score was 13–6 and, unfortunately, it was a very poor start to the season…
