We’ve just witnessed another thrilling round of matches in the ARRMA play-offs. This time, we found out the results of two crucial matches to decide who would progress to the LAN finals. VoFoxen Prospects, who were on the verge of achieving their goal following a superb performance in the previous rounds, were ultimately pipped to the post by NEXORA in the promotion match. POLTEAM RED, on the other hand, have every reason to be pleased, having confidently defeated CFK ESPORT in the Rising division play-offs to secure their place at the LAN!
VoFoxen Prospects – ARRMY LAN dreams come to an end
After a brilliant start to the ARRMY Season 17 play-offs, VoFoxen Prospects found themselves just one step away from qualifying for the LAN finals. The team had already secured a place in ARRMY Rising, and needed just one more victory to achieve their second goal.
However, NEXORA stood in their way. The BO3 series did not go according to plan for our representatives. VoFoxen Prospects lost the series 0–2, falling to their opponents 9–13 on the first map – Anubis – and 7–13 on Ancient.
This brings VoFoxen Prospects’ journey in the race for the LAN finals to an end. It leaves a bitter taste, particularly given the team’s form so far and their convincing victories in previous rounds. Despite the defeat, however, the team can count this stage as a success — they have secured their place in ARRMY Rising.
POLTEAM RED – promotion to the LAN finals secured!
POLTEAM RED, who competed in the Rising division play-offs, certainly have far more reasons to celebrate. At stake in their match against CFK ESPORT was a place in the LAN finals, and our partner were determined to leave nothing to chance.
POLTEAM RED put in an outstanding performance, dominating their opponents on both maps. Cache ended with a score of 13–3, whilst on Ancient their dominance was even more evident — 13–2.
The 2–0 victory means that POLTEAM RED can celebrate their promotion to the LAN finals! It was an incredibly convincing performance, in which the team demonstrated their strength and gave their opponents little chance of putting up a fight.
Congratulations to POLTEAM RED on a brilliant performance and their qualification! We’d like to thank VoFoxen Prospects for putting up a fight and congratulate them on having already secured their place in ARRMY Rising. GLHF!
