TeamBook is now officially available on Superion.gg

- -

You may have already noticed, but TeamBook is now officially live on our website. This is the solution we’ve been working on over the past few weeks and which we initially made available to our partners for testing. After gathering initial feedback and refining the key features, the time has come for TeamBook to become a permanent fixture on Superion.gg.

From the outset, our aim was to create a space that would make it easier for teams to organise their day-to-day work. Tactics in one spreadsheet, training schedules in another, match results somewhere on the tournament platform, and player information on Discord? When playing regularly, this quickly adds up to a lot of different places you need to keep track of and update. TeamBook is designed to bring together the most important aspects of a team’s operations in one place.

So this isn’t just another ordinary dashboard with squad information. It’s a tool designed for Counter-Strike teams that want to better organise their work, match preparations and internal communication.

One place for the whole team

TeamBook’s greatest strength is its comprehensiveness. Instead of treating individual aspects of team life as separate tasks, we can combine them into a single system. The captain, coach or manager is provided with tools that allow them not only to manage the squad, but also to plan training sessions, prepare tactics and review matches played.

One of the key features is the team dashboard, which contains the most important information about the team. Here, we can include, amongst other things, the team’s name and logo, as well as links to social media and the current squad. Players can also have their FACEIT profiles linked. This ensures that basic information about the team is accessible without having to search for it in several different places.

TeamBook also allows you to keep a history of changes to the line-up. With frequent changes, this can be particularly useful, as the team doesn’t have to limit itself to showing only the current starting five. Furthermore, thanks to integration with FACEIT, it’s easier to add players to the team.

We haven’t forgotten about matches either. You can store both official and practice matches in one place. Importantly, the list can be filtered by, amongst other things, match type, map or the opponent’s average ELO. Thanks to this, after a while, TeamBook can also become a handy archive of past matches.

But this is just the beginning… Because the most important elements come into play when the team starts preparing for their next match.

Tactics, training sessions and schedules all in one place

One of TeamBook’s most important modules is the Playbook, a space designed for storing and organising tactics. Instead of searching for the right playbook in Discord messages or opening yet another document, the team can store their plays directly in their TeamBook.

Tactics can be filtered by, amongst other things, map, round type or player role. It is also possible to create different variations of a play, as well as to map out post-plant situations. For specific tasks, you can assign information to individual players and even specify how to use utility items – such as where to deploy them, the timing, or the number of grenades required. This gives the coach or IGL much greater freedom in preparing the team. Instead of having a general note such as ‘Player A throws a smoke, Player B flashes’, you can create a structured playbook that the entire squad can access.

Another feature is the team schedule. The captain or coach can plan specific training days, specify their type – e.g. PRACC, Official or theory – and add an additional description. You can also mark a day as individual training or a day off, which allows for better control over the team’s weekly schedule. Players can also indicate their availability, making it easier to find a time that suits the whole five-man squad.

TeamBook also includes a section for individual training. A player can log a completed training session by selecting its type, e.g. DM or bot drills, and attaching a screenshot. Those in charge of the team, meanwhile, are given access to reports for the whole squad. This means TeamBook doesn’t have to be used only when an official match is approaching. It can become a place the team checks in on every day… From planning training sessions, through preparing tactics, right up to summarising matches played.

Who is TeamBook designed for?

TeamBook isn’t a solution aimed exclusively at professional organisations or teams with a coaching and management staff. On the contrary, its greatest value lies with smaller and developing teams that have previously relied on several different tools.

You don’t need a large organisation to start using it. All you need is a team that wants to organise its work and have all the key information to hand. Whether you’re just putting a squad together, playing tournaments regularly, or preparing for the next league season, TeamBook can serve as a shared command centre.

Importantly, the project will continue to be developed. Launching TeamBook on the website does not mean work on it has finished. We regard it as one of the key elements in the further development of Superion.gg. We want each update to make it even more user-friendly and better suited to the evolving needs of teams.

So, if you have your own team, it’s worth setting it up on our site and trying out TeamBook in practice. Perhaps some of the things you’ve been keeping in spreadsheets, messages or private notes so far can simply be moved to one place. TeamBook is now officially available. All that remains is for us to put it in the hands of more teams and see how you get on with it.
