This isn’t the first time Armitra Esports and Young Stars Talents have faced off. You could say it’s something of a classic fixture on the Polish underground scene. In the ARRMY tournament alone, these two teams have faced each other three times, and in each of those clashes, Armitra Esports came out on top. The first match in this format took place 533 days ago (5 February 2024), when Armitra won 13–8.
Young Stars Talents came closest to a win 272 days ago, on 23 October 2024 to be precise, when they were just one point short of forcing overtime. This classic rivalry also played out during ESEA Main. Both teams faced off on 20 February in the ESEA competition. This clash, too, did not go our other partner’s way. A defeat, by a score of 4–13.
Returning to the very source of today’s topic, a few days ago we described the first two matches involving our partner with the yellow logo. (click here to be redirected). Since then, they have embarked on a speedrun to finish the group stage. They have played five matches and won them all.
Energolek
Exactly five days ago, at 8 pm, Armitra Esports faced off against the “energolek” team. The match took place on Ancient, and Piku really stood out, achieving a KD ratio of 2.70. His incredible smurfing contributed to the final victory, with a score of 13–8.

The same match
On the same day, but at 21:45, Armitra Esports hosted TNC Esports. Also on the Ancient map, and the match itself ended with exactly the same result as the previous ones. A 13-8 win, once again on Ancient. In the previous match, Piku was the star of his team; in this one, qwe stood out, achieving a similar KD ratio to his teammate in the previous match. Twenty-five kills, eleven deaths, a 2.27 KD ratio. Hats off to him.

Fourth Ancient win in a row
Ancient is to Armitra’s main squad what Vertigo once was to 9INE. Last Sunday (20 July), our partner faced off against Awaken Esports – a team that cannot count this season as a success. Armitra Esports were the clear favourites for this match, which they proved by easily defeating their opponents 13-6.
Piku continues to improve his KD Ratio (and more). Another incredible performance from him, this time with an even higher KDR than in the match against energol. Twenty-six kills, just nine deaths and a KD Ratio of 2.89. All that’s left for us to do is congratulate him.

Map change and defeat
On the same day, but an hour after the start of the first match, Armitra faced another of our partners, Hussars. Hussars can hardly count this season as a success. A lack of squad stability, which unfortunately translates into poor results and walkovers in ESEA Intermediate, did not, however, prevent Hussars from snatching points from Armitra Esports. It was a closely contested match. We witnessed a thrilling battle that ended in defeat for Armitra Esports with a score of 11–13. Piku once again played a good game (24/18). Admittedly, it wasn’t quite as spectacular as his previous ones.

Back on the winning track
I suppose we don’t need to say that ancient = a win for Armitra? Their fifth ancient win in a row, and their fourth consecutive victory against Young Stars Talents in the ARRMY. Armitra is to Young Stars Talents what Natus Vincere once was to G2 Esports, with Snax in the line-up. The match ended in a 13-8 victory for Armitra Esports, with xevis (21/12) posting the best stats on the server this time, with a 1.75 KD ratio.

Last match
With one round remaining in the group stage, Armitra have a record of 5 wins and 2 defeats. This puts them in second place in the table and secures their place in the play-offs. In the final round, Armitra Esports will host ATP, who are in sixth place. The middle of the table is tightly packed, with Hussars, who have a game in hand, and ATP, who are defending their last place in the play-offs, so we feel this may not be as easy a match for Armitra as it seems.
