On Monday, Young Stars Academy faced their rivals in the ESEA Open10, just like their older teammates from Young Stars Talents, who were also playing their match, but in the ESEA Main.
We’ll start with the match featuring the “Talents”, i.e. Young Stars Talents. Ahead of this match, they had a 3-5 record; the record looks poor to say the least, though the only consolation is that YS were on a roll before the match, having recorded three wins in a row. The entire match took place on the de_nuke map; by the end of the first half, some might have bet that the match would end quickly — our partner was leading 10-2, and the match ultimately ended 13-4, giving Young Stars Talents their fourth consecutive victory and bringing their current record to 4-5.

The team’s next match is tomorrow at 8 pm. They will face “VIVID UTD”, who have a much worse record than our partner. They have recorded just one win from eight matches, so it’s probably clear who the favourites are in this clash.
Young Stars currently have two teams competing in ESEA, as we mentioned earlier – one in Open10, the other two tiers higher – in ESEA Main. Let’s turn our attention for a moment to the team playing in ESEA Open10, namely Young Stars Academy, who unfortunately cannot say the same as the players in the Talents division. Yesterday at 7.30 pm they faced the “Sigmaboys” team; prior to this match, they had a 4-5 record. The match took place on the Polish map – Mirage – and by half-time our partner was unfortunately trailing 2-10. The same scoreline as in the division above, but unfortunately this time the other way round. Ultimately, the match ended 6-13, and the academy adds another defeat (their third in a row) to their record, which now stands at
4-6.
