The LHG players have now completed their first 6 matches in the ARRMY Open; it is time to summarise their achievements in the league so far.
It is worth recalling that LHG is an organisation which, prior to the start of this ARRMY Open season, competed in the Masters league qualifiers. Unfortunately, the players failed to secure a place in the Masters league and must continue to face the challenges of the Open league.
LHG didn’t start the season in the best possible way, but later they remembered how to play and managed to salvage their situation somewhat, which at one point looked, to put it mildly, rather bleak.

2. Hussars have learned their opponent in the Galaxy Cup Reborn Edition 2

The Galaxy Cup is entering its decisive phase. One of the teams that is our partner and is still competing in this tournament is Hussars. So far, they have managed to reach the quarter-finals and now know who their opponent will be.
Hussars performed very well in the group stage, recording a 5-1 record, losing only to Armitre after extra time.

Now, in the quarter-finals, they face ŻółwOdTyłu, who defeated Armitre in the previous round after three thrilling maps. Our team are the favourites, but their opponents are the dark horses of this tournament and could spring a surprise.

3. Pandemonium announces a new player.

Could Pandemonium be announcing a new addition to their Counter-Strike 2 squad? That’s exactly right!
It was clear that Pandemonium simply had to announce a new player due to gaps in the squad, but it was unknown who Pandemonium would choose. Yesterday (12/11/2024), Maurycy 'maskkot' Liberacki was officially announced as the new player.
Maskkot is a new 21-year-old rifler in the CS2 division. From the information we received from the organisation in the announcement, we know that he is set to be a very ambitious player. We also asked the division captain for his opinion, and it goes as follows: ‘He joined us as if we’d known each other for years. Totally focused in-game, and outside of it, a great mate to chat to about anything. Strong and consistent with his aim. Tactically, he listens and understands what we need to do. 4. RAMZES joins YNG SKiLLZ

It’s a pleasure to greet you all in my new colours. I’ve been on the virtual pitches for a few years now; I took my first serious steps in defensive positions at PLC and have been plugging gaps in the defence for a good few seasons now. I take the league quite seriously and, in a way, professionally, but with a sense of perspective. My priority is to get out on the pitch and do a good job, whilst having a bit of fun at the same time.

5. Armitra launches a new project

Armitra has announced a new project – “Bullseye” – on its x.com profile, amongst other places. The project involves participants in this game show correctly predicting the winner of a given match – if they succeed, they win 50 zł.

6. A representative from YNG SKiLLZ will play in a tournament co-organised by Wisła Kraków.

Jakub “Kubus” Tomaszek, a representative of the YNG SKiLLZ 1v1 section, who recently finished 5th–8th in the Bejott Cup finals. On 6 March, qualifiers were held for the White Star Cup LAN tournament, organised by Wisła Kraków, among others.
Jakub defeated the following players along the way:

Unfortunately, things didn’t go so well in the final, as he lost to J0K3R7X, although reaching the final itself guaranteed a place in the main tournament, which is just a week away.
In the first match, he lost 2–7; the return match was a closer affair, ending 4–5. Thanks to the outcome of the qualifying tournament held a week ago, Kubus will be in action as early as 23 March 2025. The prize pool for this tournament stands at PLN 5,800.
The group stage matches will be played in a BO2 format, the same format in which Kubus played his last two matches in the qualifying tournament, and the top eight will advance to the next stage of the tournament, the knockout stage. In this stage, matches will be played in a BO3 format, in a single-elimination bracket, meaning that a single defeat results in elimination from the tournament.
Congratulations to the YNG SKiLLZ representative on his qualification, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a great performance!

7. Two of our partners in the TOP 10 of “Arrmy Open S11”

At the start of season 11 of “Arrmy Open”, both Hevind eSports and Superion Gaming were keen to reach the playoffs and compete for promotion to “Arrmy Rising”. How did they fare?
Hevind eSports finished the season in 6th place, with a 9-1 record, losing only to Swiete Krowy after a closely fought match that ended 7-13 on the Mirage map. It was a really good group stage for them.
The situation is similar for Superion Gaming, who also finished the season with a 9-1 record, but one place below Hevind. Their only defeat came against 66MTA, losing 13-16 after a very tight match on the Mirage map.
Both teams will begin the play-offs on 25 November and are certainly keen to finish the stage by qualifying for ‘Army Rising’. To do so, they must win four matches in a row without a single defeat in the BO3 format.

8. Another victory for Hussars in ESEA Main.

We enjoy writing about our partners’ strong performances in the biggest leagues available to them. ESEA Main is undoubtedly one such league, and Hussars have put in a fine performance there too.
Admittedly, the players didn’t start the league season in the best possible way, suffering two defeats against ALLINNERS 5:13 (Nuke) and Wolves 6:13 (Ancient). Following their recent performances, we can safely say that these results didn’t seem to affect the players’ morale and they bounced back quite easily.
First, Hussars were due to face Enterprise in their third match, but the latter failed to turn up on time, and a walkover victory was awarded to Hussars. The fourth match was the first of those won thanks to a strong performance by the Hussars, this time taking on the Snogard Dragons on the Nuke map. The result, though not entirely convincing, was still a positive 13:11.
Will the Hussars manage to extend their winning streak? We’ll find out tomorrow (28/01/2025) at 8.00 pm, in their match against The 9eRs. Should they win, the team’s record in the ESEA Main would stand at 3-2.

10. Avalanche.gg presents a new player

A few days ago, we wrote an article about Adam “Quzi” Kozak leaving the Avalanche.gg team (article). We also mentioned there that they were set to introduce a new player to replace him in the coming days. Yesterday, we found out who that player is.
Bartosz “Bartitch” Tchórz has become the new Avalanche.gg player. He is a player who has been playing with Avalanche for a few weeks already, but has only been officially announced in the last few days. He will not exactly fill the role in the team previously held by Quzi, who played as a sniper; instead, he will play as a rifler. The sniper role will be filled by sequ3r or sprint, depending on the map or current circumstances.
