The Feather Cup is kicking off its new season, and Vandals Clan is strengthening its academy

- -

As I’ve mentioned in a few previous articles, the year has only just begun, and there’s more and more going on in our scene. Tournament organisers are back with new initiatives, and teams are keeping busy, making changes to their structures. In recent days, news has emerged regarding both the upcoming edition of the Feather Cup and personnel changes within the well-known Vandals Clan. These announcements suggest that the start of the season is shaping up to be particularly interesting, and it is worth taking a closer look at them.

Feather Cup Winter Edition – registration opens for the third edition

The organisers of the Feather Cup have officially announced the launch of the next instalment of their project. The Feather Cup Winter Edition will be the third edition of the tournament, which is gradually establishing its position on the scene and attracting teams seeking competition in a well-organised format. The winter edition is intended to be the next step in the initiative’s development and a response to the growing interest in this type of competition at the start of the season.

According to the organisers’ announcement, registration for the tournament will open on 15 January and run until 31 January, with the number of places limited to 32 teams. A prize pool of PLN 2,000 awaits the participants, whilst the entry fee has been set at PLN 50 per team. This makes the tournament accessible to both more experienced squads and teams wishing to test their abilities.

It is worth noting that the Feather Cup strives to improve its format with each edition, offering participants increasingly polished organisation and clear competition rules. Details regarding the match schedule, format and further organisational information are set to be released in the coming days on the tournament’s official Discord.

Naturally, the organisers invite all interested teams to follow further announcements and prepare for the upcoming competition.

Vandals Clan announces new academy coach

The start of the season marks not only the return of tournaments but also the first personnel changes from organisations. In recent days, there has been no shortage of news regarding personnel changes that may be significant for the further development of younger squads.

More specifically, we are talking about Vandals Clan, which has recently announced changes to the structure of its academy. The organisation has officially announced the appointment of syude as the new coach of the Vandals Protect team. This decision fits perfectly with efforts aimed at further developing the youth system and better preparing players for competition at a higher level.

In its statement, Vandals Clan welcomed the new coach into its ranks, wishing him a fruitful collaboration with the team and every success under the organisation’s colours. Although no details regarding plans for the coming months have been revealed at this stage, this announcement clearly demonstrates that the organisation is committed to developing its academy and building solid foundations for the future.

This change in the coaching role could prove to be a significant step in the continued operation of the Vandals academy. However, only the coming weeks will reveal the direction the academy’s development will take and what results this new collaboration will bring.

It is worth noting that Vandals Protect plays a vital role as a squad where younger players gain experience. The arrival of a new coach may influence not only the team’s training and strategies but also the development of young talent. In the long term, this could translate into the strength of the entire organisation.

The scene is already buzzing

Although the year has only just begun, there has already been plenty of interesting news and personnel changes on the underground scene. We’ve already mentioned some of these in previous articles… However, today, amongst all these developments, we’ve focused on the upcoming Feather Cup Winter Edition and the changes at the Vandals Clan academy. These announcements demonstrate that both new tournaments and the development of young players are becoming increasingly important. So, the coming weeks look set to be incredibly exciting, and it’s worth keeping an eye on the next moves of each team.
