There are literally just a few days left until the regular season of the 53rd ESEA season officially comes to an end. However, most teams have already played their matches, so we know one thing for sure: POLteam can rest easy ahead of the Entry Division playoffs. Having played all their matches, they’ve racked up an excellent 10–4 record, and all signs point to them being in Bracket A.
The home straight and a stumble just before the finish line – how did POLteam finish the regular season?
The final three matches of the regular season of ESEA Entry Season 53 brought POLteam a mix of emotions: a free point, a tough fight and a cold shower right at the end.
POLteam 1:0 Invicta Aquilae | walkover
The first of the last three matches ended without play, as Invicta Aquilae were unable to field a full squad, appearing on the server with only four players. POLteam pocketed a free point, allowing the team to calmly focus on preparations for the upcoming matches.

The second of the three final matches was played on Mirage and proved to be the most fiercely contested clash of the series. POLteam got off to a good start, finishing the first half with a solid 4-8 lead. The team looked solid, controlling the pace of the game and effectively executing their game plan.
After the break, the match became much more even, and their rivals from d0b3g555 began to make up ground, narrowing the gap to just one round. Despite the pressure from their opponents, the final stages belonged to POLteam. They kept their cool at crucial moments and closed out the match with a 11:13 victory, adding another valuable win to their tally.
LPH Gaming 13:7 POLteam | Inferno
To round off the regular season, they faced the solid LPH Gaming on the Inferno map. The first half was very evenly matched, with the teams scoring almost in turn, and the 6:6 score promised another fierce battle. POLteam kept up the pace and responded effectively to their opponents’ plays, not allowing them to build a lead.
After the break, however, the game changed significantly. LPH Gaming caught the wind in their sails and seized the initiative, never relinquishing it. POLteam could not find an answer to their opponents’ well-oiled play, resulting in a one-sided second half and a final score of 13:7.
POLteam’s regular season ends with a very solid record of 10 wins and 4 defeats. Despite a minor slip-up right at the end, the team showed consistency and character, earning them a place in the upper bracket of the play-offs. Now they face the most important part of the season: the battle for promotion and the chance to prove their form in direct clashes with the best.
