Partners at the VPL Summer League

At this time of day, an update to the Underground | CS2 Community rankings usually appears on our website. Not today, though – the publication of the update has been postponed until tomorrow, also at 8.00 pm. Instead, today we’re back with some content that last appeared about a month ago. We’re talking, of course, about the EA Sports FC 25 scene. The season itself is slowly drawing to a close, and most leagues have already finished. In the meantime, the organisers are trying to ‘fill the gap’ during the off-season with summer tournaments. To give you an idea, I’m referring to the equivalent of friendly matches in football; there’s a similar vibe to these kinds of tournaments in EA Sports FC as well. In today’s article, we’ll be focusing on the VPL Summer League. This tournament is organised by VPL Poland.

VPL Poland Summer League

One of the summer tournaments, or summer leagues, is the VPL Poland Summer League, organised by VPL, with several partner teams taking part, including, amongst others, The Bulls Team, The Separatists and YNG SKiLLZ. Since the league began, two rounds have been played, although not all teams have played two matches after the first few days. Today, the next two rounds are taking place.

During the first round, we saw YNG SKiLLZ, The Bulls Team and The Separatists in action. In the case of The Bulls Team, they were unable to play their match on the original date, so the organisers rescheduled it for the following week. YNG were the only team to secure three points in the first round, though The Bulls Team could join them next week, as they are widely tipped as favourites in their match against Impact Boys.

• YNG SKiLLZ 2–1 Spirit.us
• The Bulls Team X-X Impact Boys
• MF Killers 3–2 The Separatists

Round Two

In the second round, The Separatists faced FC Shadow Stars, whilst The Bulls Team took on the Illegal Shooters academy. YNG SKiLLZ rounded off the second round’s fixtures with a match against MF Killers. Unfortunately, The Separatists once again finished the round without a single point to their name. This time, The Bulls Team’s match was not postponed; they put on a fine display of football, winning 5–0 against the Illegal Shooters Club academy. Meanwhile, YNG SKiLLZ have once again added three points to their summer tally.

• Illegal Shooters Academy 0–5 The Bulls Team
• FC Shadow Stars 2–1 The Separatists
• YNG SKiLLZ 1–0 MF Killers

YNG SKiLLZ at the top

After two matches, YNG is the only team with a perfect record, which naturally translates into a high position in the table. YNG is currently second in the table. Only GSK Esport is ahead of them, thanks to a better goal difference. In fourth place is The Bulls Team, who have one win to their name. The lowest-placed of the partners is The Separatists, who sit in 12th place with 0 points.

Today’s matches

As part of the third and fourth rounds, we’ll be able to watch more matches featuring our partners today. The Bulls Team will host FC Shadow Stars. The Separatists face a tough task, as their opponents will be OM3N eSports. YNG SKiLLZ will take on Elektryczni Esport. One round later (on the same day), we’ll see a clash between our partners. The Separatists will take on The Bulls Team, whilst YNG SKiLLZ will battle for three points against Hornets Squad.
