After a break of over a month, we’re back to tracking what’s happening in the UG rankings – the list compiled by Underground | CS2 Community. The last time we checked in was back in mid-March… when The Night Club were at the top, with a very close battle raging behind them between Dom Towarowy, Lunacy NXT and Atmosferka. Since then, however, the scene has undergone a major shake-up. New organisations have appeared in the rankings, several teams have shown very marked improvements, whilst others have completely lost momentum. The end of March and the whole of April were particularly interesting, bringing a change at the top, the takeover of The Night Club’s roster by Project 91, and the continued development of teams such as Ignis Five and Fast Layners. So it’s time to catch up on everything and see what the current balance of power looks like on the Polish underground CS2 scene.
The end of March marked by a battle for the throne
The second half of March was characterised above all by a very fierce rivalry at the very top of the rankings. The Night Club and Dom Towarowy regularly swapped the top spot, with the points gap between the two teams being minimal. Meanwhile, Atmosferka made huge progress, jumping onto the podium and closing in on the very top. Both of Lunacy’s projects also looked solid, although both Lunacy Gaming and Lunacy NXT began to gradually fall behind the leaders.
At the bottom of the table, there was plenty of turmoil caused by the regular rises of teams such as Ignis Five, Kruliczki and Metric Mind. Ignis Five, in particular, looked at the time like a team that was only just getting into its stride. Meanwhile, WKEYENJOYERS and SH4RKS remained in mid-table, but without any significant jumps in points. Towards the end of March, several new names also appeared. These included Vita Nova Labs and FiveSilversTeam, which only served to show that the ranking is very much alive and regularly attracts new line-ups trying to make their mark on the underground scene.

April brought major changes
However, the real shake-up didn’t come until April. The start of the month still belonged to The Night Club, which regained the lead and maintained its advantage over Dom Towarowy. Legions Esport was also gaining significant momentum. Meanwhile, Ignis Five began to climb the table steadily, quickly moving from around the top 10 to the very top of the rankings.
The biggest turning point, however, came in the middle of the month. The Night Club disappeared from the standings under its own name, as the squad was taken over by Project 91. The new organisation instantly jumped into the top spot… However, Fast Layners appeared right behind them, growing in strength practically week by week. At the same time, Ignis Five continued its impressive climb up the rankings and firmly established itself on the podium.

April was also a very successful period for teams such as Pirtus_Vro, Inazuma and dopieca, who regularly climbed several places up the table. On the other hand, a marked decline was recorded by, amongst others, WKEYENJOYERS and some of the mid-table teams, who began to fall behind the leaders in terms of points. By the end of the month, the picture was clear… The rankings had entered a new era, with Project 91, Fast Layners and Ignis Five emerging as the three strongest teams on the entire scene.

Latest Underground | CS2 Community rankings
The start of May brought another change at the top. This time, Project 91 returned to first place, overtaking Fast Layners to once again become the highest-ranked team in the UG rankings. However, the points gap between the two teams remains narrow, so the battle for the top spot is still wide open.
Ignis Five held on to third place and can be considered the biggest winner of recent weeks. Back in March, the team was in the middle of the top 10, but today it regularly competes with the strongest teams in the entire standings. Atmosferka continues to hold onto fourth place, although the gap to the podium is slowly beginning to widen.
It’s also worth noting the excellent rise of Pirtus_Vro and Inazuma, who have now reached 11th and 12th place respectively in the latest rankings. PIXEN Esports is also looking increasingly strong, having jumped into the top 15 of the rankings. At the same time, some of the older teams, such as WKEYENJOYERS and NPK, have clearly lost ground to the teams that made the most progress during April.

The CS2 underground scene has once again demonstrated just how dynamically it can change. Just a few weeks ago, it seemed that The Night Club and Dom Towarowy would dominate the rankings for some time to come. Today, however, the spotlight is on Project 91, Fast Layners and Ignis Five. The pace of change is immense, and the constant shuffling in the table means that practically every new ranking could bring a new leader or an unexpected rise for one of the mid-table teams.
If the coming weeks follow a similar pattern, we’re in for a truly exciting period for the entire scene. More and more teams are gaining experience, and organisations are starting to invest in their projects. Meanwhile, the competition in the Underground | CS2 Community rankings is becoming increasingly close. One thing is certain: after such an intense April, it will be well worth checking the latest updates to the rankings much more frequently.
