How did the second round of the Immunity League go?

Another week of the Immunity League is behind us, and the balance of power is slowly beginning to emerge. In some groups, we saw one-sided matches, whilst in others… fierce battles right down to the final rounds. It’s becoming increasingly clear which teams are in contention for the play-offs. However, there are also those who need to find their rhythm quickly if they want to stay in the running for promotion. There was no shortage of excitement, some convincing victories, but also surprises… The sort that could prove crucial later in the season. So let’s take a look at how the second round of the group stage played out and who made the most of their chance to pick up points.

Convincing victories and consistent form – Group A of the Immunity League

In Group A, the favourites largely confirmed their form. TNC Esports picked up points following a walkover against Eco Bo Bieda, maintaining their place at the top of the table. However, the matches played on the server were far more exciting. NoName Team dominated Horizon Prodigy 13–4 on Ancient, a map they clearly favour. As might have been expected, the most evenly matched clash was between Nexium POLteam and Insomnia, which ended 13–10. The teams were evenly matched, and the final result allowed POLteam to add three valuable points to their tally and stay in touch with the group leaders.

The favourites show no sign of slowing down – Group B

In Group B, we witnessed a show of strength from the leading teams. doZera comfortably defeated Victoria Nostra 13–7, maintaining their winning streak from the start of the season. VoFoxen, for their part, completely dominated M0CZODOL on Train. Their one-sided 13–1 victory clearly demonstrated the difference in their level of tactical preparation. Constrict Gaming joined the ranks of the dominant teams, crushing Tytani Pracy 13–0. Their confidence and fluidity of play could signal a truly fierce battle for top spot in the group.

A fierce battle right down to the final rounds – Group C

Group C once again provided fans with plenty of excitement. The most intriguing clash was between Modern Players and Timeless, and the 10–13 scoreline best reflects the course of the match. Timeless made better use of the key rounds and once again proved that they can keep their cool at decisive moments. In the other matches, Vandals Clan comfortably defeated Gloris AC 13–5. Meanwhile, ViBe Gaming comfortably beat Oblivion Team 13–4, remaining at the top of Group C. After two rounds, it is these teams that seem to be setting the pace of the competition.

A stable leading pack and thrilling finishes – Group D of the Immunity League

In Group D, we saw a mix of dominance and closely fought matches. It was then that Mollitiem left Visionary in no doubt, winning 13–3. They may have had to wait a while for their first match in the Immunity League, but the Hussars made the most of the opportunity. In their debut, they defeated Young Stars Talents 13–8, showing that they can join the fight for the top spots in the group. Epoka Lodowcowa didn’t disappoint either, defeating Tuga Clan 13–10 after a thrilling clash. The match was fiercely contested from start to finish, and the decisive rounds were only settled in the closing stages, when Epoka’s experience proved decisive in securing victory.

The third round of the Immunity League is already underway!

So, an exciting second round is now behind us, one which has begun to shape the balance of power within the individual groups. Some favourites have confirmed their dominance, whilst others are still finding their form… And this is only the beginning of the real competition.
