The underground Counter-Strike scene is starting to grow again, and with it come the return of projects that are well-regarded by many players. We are delighted to announce that Avalanche.gg and Superion Gaming are returning to active competition on the CS underground scene. At the same time, they are partnering with us. Both organisations aim to re-establish their presence in competitive play and build their squads from the ground up, focusing on commitment and long-term development.
Avalanche.gg – a comeback after disbanding and a new foundation for the project
Avalanche.gg is an organisation that first appeared on the underground scene in July 2020. Over the following years, the project built its reputation, relying on the commitment of its players and regular participation in various online competitions. In November 2024, however, the organisation announced its disbandment, which brought its activities on the CS scene to a halt for an extended period.
After more than a year’s hiatus, Avalanche.gg is officially back in the game, marking a new chapter in the project’s history. Currently, the organisation is built around a four-man core comprising Sequ3r, Dr0bny, zolonn and Grucha. It is around this core that a full-fledged squad is to be formed, ready to compete in underground tournaments and leagues.
Naturally, Avalanche.gg is currently running an open recruitment drive, aimed primarily at players seeking further development in esports. The organisation is looking for players with a minimum Faceit rank of 7, who have spent at least 2,000 hours in the game. Riflemen are the preferred role. However, high availability and the ability to work as part of a team are also crucial. This includes openly admitting mistakes and a willingness to learn from them.
In return, Avalanche.gg offers solid technical and organisational support. Players can count on their own CS server, a TS3 communication server, regular training sessions, and the organisation’s genuine commitment to the team’s development. Plans also include participation in tournaments such as ArrMy and ESEA, which should allow the team to gradually build up tournament experience.
The return of Avalanche.gg and the establishment of our partnership is a clear signal that the project is committed to long-term development and a renewed presence on the ambitious, underground Counter-Strike scene.
Superion Gaming – a professional approach and strong backing
Superion Gaming, on the other hand, is a project that has also previously been active on the underground scene. However, over the past few months, it has remained outside the mainstream of competition. The organisation’s last notable activity was observed in February 2025, after which the project suspended its operations. Now Superion Gaming is officially returning, beginning a new chapter in its activities.
The organisation’s return is linked to a clearly defined vision for team building and a strong emphasis on professionalism. Superion Gaming is targeting more experienced players. It expects candidates to have a minimum of 2300 ELO on Faceit and a fully professional and committed approach to team play.
In return, the organisation offers extensive training facilities. Players are granted access to a training server from SCL.GG. Another major strength of the project is the owner’s involvement, who actively participates in the team’s operations.
Superion Gaming also prioritises media and brand image. The organisation is highly active on social media, maintains a professional yet friendly approach towards players, and provides tangible financial support by covering entry fees for underground tournaments. This allows players to focus solely on competition and their sporting development.
Establishing a “partnership” with us is a natural step for Superion Gaming, backed by none other than Sequ3r. The organisation’s aim is to build a stable esports project, based on both results and a consistent media presence. Superion Gaming’s return could prove to be one of the most interesting developments on the underground CS scene in the coming months.
Old projects, a new chapter
The comebacks of Avalanche.gg and Superion Gaming, combined with our partnership, show that the underground scene still has potential for growth. For players, this is another chance to join ambitious projects. For the wider community, however, it is a sign that even outside the mainstream, the scene is still alive and consistently expanding. The coming months will reveal the direction in which both teams will develop their projects.
