Another week, another update to the Cybersport.pl ranking of Polish teams. As always, we’ll be focusing mainly on our partners, but it’s also worth mentioning what’s happened in the top three spots, where, unfortunately, none of our partners feature. Betclic Apogee have climbed to first place thanks to some excellent performances in tournaments streamed on HLTV. In doing so, they’ve knocked the previous leaders, Kolesia, down to second place. The battle is still raging, and the most important LAN tournaments ahead of the Major are just around the corner.
Our partners following the 18 August update
Of course, as usual, it’s worth mentioning where our partners stood a week earlier. This will give a clearer picture of how our partners have moved up or down the rankings. Here are the rankings as of 15 August: Young Stars Talents – 14th place (902 points), Gloris eSports – 28th place (423 points), Constrict Gaming – 30th place (413 points).
The current standings look quite different. After losing their entire squad, ValianceGG dropped out of the top 30 Polish teams and, as we reported, has suspended its activities. Despite everything, Young Stars remain the leaders. Their points tally has increased by almost 200, and they now have as many as 1,078 points. Their position remains unchanged, however, at 14th place. Moving down nine places, we see the biggest rise among our partners. Last week, Constrict Gaming were on the cusp of the top 30, and now, having climbed seven places, they’re unlikely to be worried about that. Of course, there’s still room for improvement, and we wish them all the best.
In 27th place we find Gloris eSports, who are still performing quite well, which has allowed them to climb one place. They cannot afford to feel completely secure yet, as a single poor week could see them drop out of the top 30. Nor can the biggest surprise of this ranking – SLAKE, who have appeared in 30th place – feel completely secure. This is the result of their excellent performances in the ESEA Main league, where they’re taking the competition by storm, so they could climb even higher.

In which tournaments will our partners be able to secure a higher placing?
- Galaxy Cup – the LAN finals of this tournament take place tomorrow. Our only partner team to have qualified is Young Stars, and they’ll be the ones battling it out for points. Tomorrow at 13:00, they’ll face radar bois in the quarter-finals (live stream).
- ESEA Leagues – all the teams mentioned above are taking part in the ongoing regular season. This is probably the easiest way to earn points, especially if you can win in a BO1 format.
