The biggest news of recent days is undoubtedly the decision by the Nisla Rakov organisation to part ways with its current squad. However, this isn’t the only shake-up that has taken place. At Vandals Clan, we’ve been introduced to a new mental coach, a head coach and a fresh addition to the squad. Meanwhile, Avalanche.gg has also gone through a period of change… First, some departures, followed by a squad rebuild. Let’s take a look at exactly what has happened in recent days and what the coming weeks might hold for each of the teams.
Vandals Clan closes the “transfer window”
At Vandals Clan, the latest changes began with a boost to the coaching staff. Although Hubert “Sniki9991” Sikorski had worked with the team previously, it is only now that he has been officially announced as the mental coach. This is a move that clearly demonstrates the direction the organisation has taken. In today’s esports, mechanical skills are one thing, but maintaining concentration, coping with pressure and bouncing back after losing rounds often determine the final outcome of a series. Vandals is therefore focusing on mental stability and the professionalisation of the project. This, in turn, signals that their ambitions extend beyond just the odd good performance.
Moments later, it was time to announce a new player. Zilla has joined the squad, taking on the role of rifler – one of the cornerstones of any formation. It is the riflers who are most often responsible for initiating bombsite entries, trading frags and maintaining control over key sectors of the map. Introducing a new player in this position could significantly impact the team’s pace of play and tactical style. What’s more, this change has led to a reshuffle of roles… WisTu, who serves as IGL, will also take on the duties of a sniper. Combining team leadership with playing the AWP is a demanding task, but if it works out, it could give Vandals a completely new identity and greater flexibility in decision-making during rounds.
The culmination of the “transfer window” was the announcement of a new head coach. Niels has taken on the role of head coach and will be responsible for tactical preparation and the long-term development of the team. However, the previous coach, NoQu, is not leaving the organisation; he remains as assistant coach and will also take on the role of team manager. This division of responsibilities suggests a streamlined organisational structure and a clear plan for the future. Vandals Clan is not only changing its roster but also laying the foundations for a stable, professional project.
Avalanche.gg – farewells and a swift rebuild
In recent weeks, there has certainly been no shortage of excitement at Avalanche.gg. The organisation has undergone a significant restructuring phase, which began with farewells. First, it was announced that Grucha had not been playing with the team for some time, and shortly afterwards, the split with Dr0bny was officially confirmed. The statement emphasised that the collaboration had ended on good terms, without any unnecessary tension. Such an approach always builds a positive image, even if, in sporting terms, it means taking a step backwards.
At one point, the squad situation began to look truly serious. The Avalanche.gg line-up had dwindled to just two players: Sequ3r and ksWikary. For fans, this could have been a warning sign, and questions quickly arose within the community as to whether the project was heading towards a complete reset. However, the organisation decided to cut short all speculation in a style quite characteristic of them, suggesting that “it’s not a disband (probably)”.
The response to these doubts was the announcement of a new player. DormiZ has joined the team and will take on the role of sniper. This is a key position in any team, often responsible for opening rounds or controlling the pace of the game. If DormiZ settles into the team quickly, Avalanche may have found the missing piece of the puzzle.
Interestingly, alongside the player’s transfer, mental support was also announced… once again in the form of Hubert “Sniki9991” Sikorski. This shows that the organisation wants to build the project not only on mechanical skills, but also on mental stability and proper preparation for tournament pressure.

However, the biggest stir was caused by the decision of the Nisla Rakov organisation, which officially announced its parting of ways with its entire existing roster. Moves of this kind never go unnoticed. Especially when we are talking about a project that had clearly defined goals and ambitions. The statement emphasised that the collaboration ended on friendly terms, without conflict or tension. This, in turn, suggests that it was a well-considered strategic decision, rather than a sudden reaction to individual results.
The organisation has also clearly outlined its sporting ambitions… Victory in the Vanguard Cup and competing in the qualifiers for the ArrMy Masters division. These are goals that require stability, individual quality and proper organisational preparation. Parting ways with the entire squad may therefore mean that the existing formula did not guarantee the achievement of these objectives. Sometimes, to take a step forward, you first have to take two steps back and rebuild the project from scratch. With a different vision, fresh energy and perhaps new names.
At this stage, we have not been given any details regarding the future squad, which only fuels speculation. Will Nisla Rakov focus on young talent? Or perhaps we’ll see a mix of experience and new blood? Parting ways with the entire squad is a bold and risky move, but it is precisely such decisions that often define a project’s future. The coming weeks, however, will show whether this rebuild proves to be the start of something bigger.

Avalanche.gg is going through a rebuilding phase, but is doing so in a controlled manner, adding both a player and mental support. Nisla Rakov, on the other hand, has decided on the boldest move… A complete reset of the project and the opening of a new chapter. Each of these organisations has chosen a different path, but the goal remains the same: development and the pursuit of ever-higher goals. In esports, stagnation can be more dangerous than taking risks, which is why the current reshuffles may prove crucial in the coming months.
