The world of Counter-Strike has always been buzzing with excitement, and the competitive scene continues to grow. Every year, new initiatives emerge that not only allow players to test their skills, but also help build a community around a shared passion for competition. One such initiative is Underground CS2 Polska, an organisation that has just announced its first tournament, called Underground Rivals. This event promises to be incredibly exciting and is already attracting the attention of players.
A new project with big ambitions
The organisers are clear about their intentions – Underground Rivals is the first of two planned tournaments designed to create a full competition series. What’s more, although the event has a smaller prize pool, its ranking significance will be substantial. The most committed teams will find it easier to qualify for the main tournament.
The whole idea is to combine passion with professionalism and give the CS2 community in Poland something it has really been missing: regular, well-organised online events. Thanks to this, Underground CS2 Poland is creating a space where both experienced players and new teams can develop, compete and gain tournament experience.
A format that guarantees excitement
The organisers of Underground Rivals have carefully designed the tournament to provide players with the maximum dose of competition. The event will feature 24 teams, which the organisers will divide into four groups of six. All group matches will be played in a BO1 format, meaning that every map will be of crucial importance. In turn, the top two teams from each group will advance to the play-offs, where they will face off in a BO3 single-elimination bracket.
Importantly, the group draw will take place live during the broadcast, which will further heighten the excitement and transparency of the entire process. Teams will be assigned to groups based on their average ELO rating, ensuring that the competition is balanced and fair.
Prizes that motivate
Although Underground Rivals is a test event, the organisers haven’t forgotten about the prizes. The first edition of the tournament offers a prize pool of 500 PLN, which is an attractive bonus on top of the prestige of taking part. What’s more, there is no entry fee, meaning every team can give it a go without any financial barriers. It’s a great opportunity to gain experience, develop tactics and test your skills against the best.
The community and the future of the project
Underground CS2 Polska clearly prioritises the community. Their communications are full of energy, and the way they engage players shows that they are not just interested in a one-off event, but in building a sustainable project. Thanks to the Underground Rivals tournament, the organisers can test the system, prepare for even bigger competitions and gather feedback from participants. This is precisely how projects are created that, over time, become the foundation of esports communities.
Places are limited to 24, so the order in which applications are received is of the utmost importance. This means that those interested must act quickly, as registration is open only until 25 October, at 15:59. This format increases the pace of recruitment and creates a sense of exclusivity – only the quickest and most organised players will get the chance to take part.
A new chapter in Polish CS2
One thing is already clear – Underground Rivals is not just a tournament; it heralds a new era in Polish CS2.
The organisers at Underground CS2 Polska are proving that with passion, determination and commitment, they can create something special – something that truly unites the gaming community.
That is why we warmly invite everyone interested in taking part in the Underground Rivals tournament to sign up.
You can join the competition via their Discord. Places are limited, and excitement is guaranteed.
