The Feather Cup Round of 16 has come to an end, but the excitement is still in full swing! We’ve just seen a round that not only delivered some spectacular clashes but also a few unexpected results. With this stage now over, we know the full line-up of eight teams who will soon be battling it out for places in the semi-finals. The competition was fierce from the first map to the last. The favourites had to prove their form, whilst the underdogs surprised everyone with their determination and courage at crucial moments. With each successive stage, the tension rises and the standard of play only improves. It is already clear that the quarter-finals promise to be exceptionally exciting. First matches full of dominance

The match ended in a walkover for Mepo Industries, who thus secured their place in the quarter-finals without playing. Although fans were hoping for a clash between the two teams, Mepo can be pleased with their quick progression to the next stage and the extra time to prepare for their next opponent.

Hussars confirmed their excellent form from the group stage, giving Ignis Five little chance. They set a high tempo from the start and dominated in every aspect. Their confident 2-0 victory shows that they are one of the main contenders for the top spots in the tournament.

Vandals Clan left no doubt as to their dominance. They played two extremely one-sided matches, finishing the series with absolute control over their opponents. The 13:0 result on Nuke speaks for itself… This is a team entering the quarter-finals in excellent form and with immense confidence.

ViNo played a very solid match, controlling the flow of both maps from start to finish. Their play was well-organised, with communication and teamwork at a high level. Vyce Clan tried to put up a fight, but it was Victoria Nostra who advanced to the quarter-finals without much trouble.

The bottom half of the table is much more evenly matched

GV Esports showed their full potential, confidently defeating Lunacy NXT. Both maps were played entirely on their terms. GV were tactically well-prepared and effective in the crucial rounds. Their form suggests they are in contention for the top spots in the tournament.

A closely fought and tense clash, which ultimately went to Ananaski. Although the 2:0 scoreline might suggest dominance, there was no shortage of excitement on the server… Especially on the second map, where GangOlsena kept looking for a chance to fight back right until the end. Ananaski, however, kept their cool in the crucial rounds and secured their place in the quarter-finals.

This match provided the most excitement of the entire round. Oppo and Nored fought a fierce, three-map battle, with Nored ultimately coming out on top. Every map was full of twists and turns, but it was Nored who remained more effective at the decisive moments, securing their place in the top eight.

Sabre Gaming have confirmed that they are a team in consistent form with great potential. Although Mivori put up a spirited fight, particularly on Mirage, Sabre controlled the match for the most part. As a result, they have comfortably secured their place in the quarter-finals, where a tougher test awaits them.

Only the best teams remain in the competition, and each has proven they can fight to the very end. The stakes are huge… A place in the semi-finals and the ever-closer prospect of the Feather Cup: Autumn Edition grand final.
