As you are no doubt aware, Nexium POLteam got off to a false start in the 55th ESEA season, losing their opening match. However, the team quickly shifted into a higher gear and has not tasted defeat since. With a 5–1 record, the team is confidently making its way through the regular season and is slowly approaching the halfway point. We have already covered the first three matches that kicked off this season in our previous article. Now we’ll take a look at the next three matches, which only confirmed that POLteam isn’t slowing down! However, these aren’t the only competitions in which we’re seeing this team. The squad has also completed the second round of the Immunity League group stage, following a successful start in the first round.
Immunity League Round 2 – Nexium POLteam maintains its form
Following a solid start in the first round of the Immunity League, the Nexium POLteam returned to the server, this time facing off against Insomnia. The match was played on Ancient, a map that often puts a team’s preparation and communication to the test. Both teams played very cautiously from the very start, and the score remained extremely close for most of the match. At crucial moments, however, it was POLteam who kept their cool and remained consistent, effectively closing out successive rounds. Ultimately, the match ended 13-10, meaning Nexium POLteam added another victory to their tally in the group stage.
Three consecutive victories in ESEA Intermediate
Following a fairly successful run at the start of the season, POLteam continues its excellent run in the competition, adding another three victories to its tally. Each match unfolded differently, but all demonstrated the team’s consistency and solidity. The first match in this series brought an exciting clash with 
SITECRASHERS on Dust 2. After a closely contested first half ending 7-5, POLteam kept their cool in the closing stages and secured a 13-11 victory, effectively closing out the match in the crucial rounds.
The next match against the French team NEVADA on Inferno took a completely different turn. The opponents started the match with a depleted line-up, playing with only four players. Nexium POLteam’s dominance was evident from the very first round. With the score at 10-0, NEVADA decided to concede the match, allowing our partners to quickly add another point to the table.
The final clash, this time against :de: verbal abusers, was played on Mirage. As in the first match, the first half ended 7-5, and in the second half, POLteam made better use of the key moments. A few confident rounds in the closing stages allowed them to seal the match with a 13-11 result, maintaining their impressive winning streak.
What does the future hold for POLteam?
Nexium POLteam’s excellent form in both leagues allows us to look forward to the coming days of competition with optimism. The team faces two more challenges in the ESEA, which could further strengthen their position in the table. Tomorrow at 7 pm, they will face the German team :de: Pandaric Main. On Thursday at 8.00 pm, they will host :fi: Amphis Gaming. Both matches look set to be exciting… And given their current form, POLteam will certainly be keen to maintain their winning streak and finish the first half of the season in the best possible style.
