Our underground scene has recently hit the ground running, with the Arrma leagues kicking off and some of the biggest tournaments coming to an end. It was a real treat for the teams taking part in these competitions and a great chance to climb the Underground rankings. Who came out on top after such a busy schedule and made the most of their chances to climb the table? Who perhaps struggled with the sheer volume of matches and dropped a few places? Here’s the breakdown:
As we update the rankings every two weeks, many teams had plenty of opportunities to climb higher and higher. The top teams couldn’t afford to fall behind either, or they might have had to worry about their positions. Getting straight to the point, the top 3 remains unchanged, with Jonixal still sitting in the top spot, having racked up a huge number of points by winning the recently concluded Feather Cup. However, they are being hot on their heels by the players of Moczodol, who are targeting LAN tournaments such as H40s, where they managed to reach the playoffs, but nothing more.
Victoria Nostra lags quite a bit behind these two; they fought bravely in the Immunity League, where, after progressing from the group stage, they were quickly eliminated from the playoffs following a defeat to ViBe Gaming. Changes have occurred further down the table, however, with Team Perun overtaking Anki’s Goats, most likely due to their excellent results in the Arrmy Open. Team Fairus has also broken into the top 10, overtaking Golden 5.
The biggest rise in this update goes to Visionary Viel, who, although only just beginning their climb up the ranks, are already showing that they are a force to be reckoned with and could break into the top 10 in the new year. As for the biggest drop, it’s pretty much a level playing field in this category; the only ones worth singling out are Blacmonkeyk and Croxic Esport AC, who have dropped two places in this update.
Nevertheless, it is clear that the rankings are developing further, with favourites emerging who are holding their own in the top 3. The end of the Arrmy Open regular season is also approaching, and the playoffs are sure to shake up our standings.
