1. Hussars announces the academy squad

Hussars recently unveiled their new academy squad, which looks quite promising. The group, which Hussars refer to as the ‘Young Hussars’, appears to have a real chance of beating several Polish underground teams.
The players are certainly very excited and can’t wait for their ALS debut. We hope the players settle in fairly quickly and will be able to shine right from their first match.

2. Team Fairus will defend their title in the second season of ALS

The Amateur Server League isn’t a tournament that many people know much about, but a few interesting organisations are certainly aware of it. Team Fairus is the team tasked with defending their Season 1 title. However, the task won’t be easy, as they’ll face Constrict Gaming – one of our partners – in their very first match. Constrict, who won’t be taking this lying down, will certainly also be aiming to fight for first place in the ALS.
The first match is about to begin; the clash between Team Fairus and Constrict Gaming kicks off today at 7 pm. We wish both teams the best of luck – may the best team win!

3. Horizon Esports parts ways with its academy

A few weeks ago, Horizon Esports announced that their main squad was transitioning to an academy role. This was because the organisation wanted their main squad to compete at a higher level. Now, however, issues that arose in connection with the academy have led to its dissolution.
The organisation announced this officially via its Twitter profile.

The main reasons for the split include a lack of team chemistry and a lack of desire to continue playing in this line-up. The academy project has been suspended indefinitely as a result of this decision, though we already know that recruitment has begun.
Here are the requirements set out by the organisation:
- 2500 ELO+ (exceptions possible)
- Maximum age 18
- Minimum experience
- Commitment and availability

4. HomieZ is our new partner

5. WLOP: start of WRC Season 4

The World League of Players announces the start of WRC Season 4. As always, it’s worth mentioning that this is a great place for beginners as well as fairly ambitious drivers.
For those who don’t know, WRC is the official rally simulation game based on the FIA World Rally Championship. The game offers realistic virtual rallies, a wide range of cars, a constructor mode and a multiplayer mode. There are many league organisers based on this title.
Season 4 officially began on 18 February, and we’ve already had the first race at Monte Carlo, which provided unforgettable thrills. The freshness and enthusiasm of the new drivers, combined with the determination of the experienced ones, promise unforgettable moments full of adrenaline and competition.
More races await us soon, where the stakes will be not only victory, but also recognition and prestige within the racing community. We invite all motoring enthusiasts to take part and cheer on their favourites, as there are still many exciting races ahead of us, which are sure to remain in the memories of both participants and spectators for a long time to come. Let’s hope we’ll remember this season for a long time.

6. Imperial Dragons pick up 5 points in three matches in the ProLeague Polska

The Imperial Dragons are currently playing in the second division of ProLeague Poland. The Dragons’ form since the start of the season has been mixed, as evidenced by their record: four wins, three draws and three defeats. Their overall goal difference stands at 17:14. Their last three matches saw a victory over OKS Otwock despite playing virtually the entire match a man down following a red card in the 16th minute, a draw with FC Avatar Hub despite leading 2-0; following a bizarre penalty and a consolation goal, the match began to slip out of control and the Dragons had to settle for just a single point. The most recent fixture was against a relatively new project, Ignite Esports; nevertheless, the opponents have several very interesting names in their squad who are well-known on the virtual club scene. After an entertaining match, a 2-2 draw seems a fair result for this league fixture. The Imperial Dragons are certainly capable of more; their play is looking better week by week. The permanent transfers, which were not as impressive in the past, have undoubtedly had a significant impact on this improvement, as the Dragons previously tended to drift around the middle of the VPG Poland and EU league tables.

7. Constrict Gaming crushes Team Fairus in Round 1 of the ALS

The next tournament in which a few of our partners will be taking part is the Amateur Server League. This tournament is of a low standard (Faceit level 7/8), so our strong partners will have easy wins in the group stage. One such team is Constrict Gaming.
First easy match
Our second partner, Team Fairus, was the opponent in the first round of the ALS. The match began with Fairus winning the pistol round, but Constrict soon broke their run and took a 3:1 lead. Fairus responded with a single round, bringing the score to 4:2. The rest of the half, however, saw complete domination from the snakes, and the first half ended with a score of 10:2. The second half began with a pistol round for Constrict, which made it easier to close out the match with a score of 13:2.

8. Constrict Gaming suffer third defeat in ESEA Intermediate

Constrict Gaming began their ESEA season with six matches, four of which they won by walkover due to their opponents’ teams disbanding. Now, in their seventh match, they were no longer so lucky and played a match against Sashi Academy.
Their opponents were the academy of a well-known Tier 2 team. The Poles were certainly expecting a tough match, and that is exactly what it turned out to be. Constrict started on the attacking side, where after just a few rounds they were dominated, leaving the score at 1-8. Towards the end of the first half, they managed to rouse themselves somewhat and brought the score to 4-8.
In the second half, the chase began. They won the pistol round, meaning that by the 18th round the score was tied at 9:9. Unfortunately, our team rested on their laurels slightly, and the next three rounds saw the opponents take a 12-9 lead. The match was ultimately lost 13-10.
Now, after the first half of the ESEA regular season, the Snakes have a 4:3 record, with one more match to play this week at Bugatti Music. That match takes place today at 8:00 pm.

9. Superion Gaming bids farewell to KayAre

Superion Gaming has been performing exceptionally well recently, as evidenced by their position at the top of the Polish Underground rankings.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and soon we will no longer be able to watch Superion as we have done so far. ‘KayAre’ is officially leaving the team. We know there were many rumours suggesting that “KayAre” was to be kicked out of the team, but that’s not the case. As the player himself writes, the decision to leave came from him. In the same post, he thanked his teammates, wishing them good luck.
What’s next for “KayAre”?
We know that Superion Gaming is already trialling a new fifth player, but what about the one who has left? “KayAre” will play with Superion until the end of ESEA Open S50, after which, surprisingly, he will join a new team.

10. Esport First with a perfect record in the EU league

Esport First maintains its excellent form and adds another 6 points to its league tally in Thursday’s matches. ESF currently has 61 points, putting them in 4th place in the table with a realistic chance of fighting for a top-3 spot in League Six A. The results are impressive.

It is worth mentioning ESF’s new signing, WS_Bioły, who made his mark on the new team by scoring as many as 7 goals in these matches, which is a truly impressive feat in the WK. ESF avenged their defeat to Team Pingu in their first meeting this season, when the Dutch side beat ESF 3-0. There are 7 rounds remaining until the end of the season.
