The ESEA season has only just come to an end, with Armitra NXT putting in an excellent performance and securing promotion to the Intermediate division. Despite this success, the academy must now part ways with one of its players. This change may come as a surprise to many, particularly given the team’s recent form, which had been very consistent towards the end of the season. The organisation now faces the task of making squad decisions and possibly searching for a new player to fill the gap before the next stage of the competition.
A farewell at Armitra NXT – time for changes
Following a successful season and promotion to the Intermediate division, Armitra’s academy is facing its first major squad change. KayAre, who has been part of the squad since its very inception, is leaving the team. Although the team’s project was launched relatively recently, thanks to the commitment and hard work of the entire squad, Armitra NXT quickly began to show its potential on the ESEA stage.
The regular season proved challenging, but it was in the play-offs that the team demonstrated its true strength of character. Armitra NXT did not lose a single match in the B bracket of the play-offs, which was crucial in securing their long-awaited promotion to the Intermediate division. The success was down to the whole team, which, despite its youth, demonstrated reliability, commitment and ever-improving teamwork – qualities essential at the crucial moments of the season.
According to an official statement from the organisation, KayAre is leaving Armitra NXT for personal reasons. This is the first change to the squad since the team’s formation, making it a symbolic moment in the history of this fledgling project. Although the team is parting ways with one of its players, there are strong indications that the atmosphere within the academy remains stable. Armitra NXT can now focus on further development and preparations for the upcoming season.
Armitra NXT now faces a period of important personnel decisions. The organisation will need to respond effectively to this change in order to maintain the progress and momentum that led the academy to its first success. Time will tell who joins the squad and how this will affect preparations for the next season. KayAre has been part of the team from the very beginning and played his part in laying its foundations. Promotion to ESEA Intermediate is a shared achievement that provides a solid foundation for the project’s continued development.
Whilst partings are never easy, Armitra NXT is looking to the future, where the team now has time for reflection, regrouping and well-considered squad decisions that will determine the project’s future development. Regardless of the direction the organisation takes, one thing is certain: the foundations have been laid, and the ambitions reach much higher.
