Firewolf Clan bids farewell to the scene – the end of an era
After two intense years on the esports scene, the Firewolf Clan project is officially winding down. This decision was made following the break-up of the Counter-Strike 2 division, which formed the backbone of the entire organisation. Despite attempts to build a new squad, the project’s founder – Daniel “Sonik1g” Klementowski – announced that he does not plan to continue working on rebuilding the team. Thus, Firewolf Clan is closing its esports chapter for good.
From passion to professionalism – the story of Firewolf Clan
Firewolf Clan began as a grassroots initiative – an informal project aimed at creating a safe space for a group of friends from a former team. What was meant to be a local, semi-amateur venture eventually evolved into an ambitious organisation competing at an increasingly high level. Thanks to consistency, passion and perseverance, Firewolf Clan made a name for itself among Polish CS2 fans and rose to the ranks of the country’s top 30 teams.
– We started out as a group of friends and ended up as one of the more serious teams on the scene. It’s been a wonderful journey – full of excitement, passion and unforgettable moments – admits Sonik1g – Project Founder
Throughout the organisation’s existence, Firewolf Clan not only competed but also built its identity around values such as loyalty, friendship and mutual support. It was a project driven by people – both those playing on the server and those supporting the team from the outside. For many, it was their first encounter with a professional approach to esports, and it is precisely this approach that fans will remember most.
Although Firewolf Clan is disappearing from the esports scene, the organisation’s history and its influence on young players and fans will not be forgotten. It was a journey which, though now over, has left a lasting mark on the hearts of many.
The closure of Firewolf Clan is not just the end of the team. It marks the end of a chapter – a chapter that showed that even a modest idea, based on passion and determination, can turn into something special.
Thank you for the excitement, every victory, every defeat, and every day that Firewolf Clan was part of the Polish underground esports scene.

Firewolf Clan is stepping down from the stage, but the memories it has left behind will live on for a long time in the minds of those who cheered, played, created and believed. For although the team is disappearing from the leaderboards and broadcast screens, it is not disappearing from history – that small but important history written by people with passion.
There will be no more matches, no new line-ups, and no more fighting together for every point – but something more will remain. What remains is the story of a group of people who started from nothing and left behind something that is hard to measure in numbers.
Firewolf Clan is now a thing of the past – but it is a beautiful past to be proud of.
