This, however, was enough to secure their place on the second day and keep them in contention for the top spots.
Constrict Gaming shines in the NOX Cup knockout stage
Day two of the NOX Cup marked the start of the knockout stage for Constrict Gaming. There, the team had to face increasingly tough opponents. In their first match, the team defeated HLTV Slayers 13–9 on the Train map, demonstrating confidence and the effective execution of their tactical plans. Next came the clash with Atmosferka, which ended in a convincing 13–6 victory on Nuke. In this match, Constrict displayed an increasingly strong rhythm of play and made confident decisions in crucial rounds.
In the upper bracket final, the team faced KOLBA, with the three maps – Overpass, Ancient and Nuke – providing plenty of excitement. After a hard-fought battle, Constrict triumphed 2–1, winning on Overpass and Nuke, which saw them advance to the grand final. However, due to the double-elimination format, KOLBA dropped down to the lower bracket following their defeat. Interestingly, they went on to secure further victories there and faced Constrict once again in the grand final. This time, however, the tables were turned. After another intense three-map clash, it was KOLBA who claimed the ultimate victory, winning 1–2, whilst Constrict Gaming could celebrate a solid second place and a very successful performance at the LAN event.
