The Young Stars Talents players have been drawn into Group B for the third edition of the Galaxy Cup. Radar Bois, POLteam, Ventus Reborn, Team Fairus, Hussars Young and ŻółwOdTyłu are their group rivals.
It is worth noting that the group stage is played using a triple-elimination system. In a nutshell, teams can only afford to slip up twice. After the first defeat, a team drops to the lower bracket, and after the second, to the last-chance bracket. Matches in the group stage are played in a Best of One (BO1) format.
Young Stars Talents played their first match against ŻółwOdTyłu. Dust2 was the map on which our partner’s battle took place. A battle that proved victorious, with YS Talents winning the match 13–4.
- 13:4 — ŻółwOdTyłu, Dust2 (Round 1, Upper Bracket)
In their next match, YS Talents faced the winners of the Hussars vs. Hussars Young match. As might be expected, it was the first Hussars line-up that they faced in their next battle. This time we watched the map — Nuke — which, for better or worse, went to Hussars, sending YS Talents down to the lower bracket.

In the second round of the lower bracket, they faced Ventus Reborn. As with the match against ŻółwOdTyłu, we watched Dust2. The only difference was the number of rounds lost by the opponent: not four, but 10 – YS Talents advance to the lower bracket final of Group B.

In the lower bracket final, they faced ŻółwOdTyłu once again, though this time on a different map — Mirage. It’s clear that ŻółwOdTyłu had learnt their lesson from the previous encounter, as they secured a 16–14 victory after extra time, sending our partner down to the semi-final of the last-chance bracket, where they will face the winner of the Team Fairus vs. Hussars Young match.
- 14:16 — ŻółwOdTyłu, Mirage (lower bracket final)
We do not know the dates for the Team Fairus vs. Hussars Young match; as far as we are aware, the date has not yet been set, so the Young Stars Talents players will have plenty of time to prepare for their opponents.
