If you’re going to play, you might as well do it in style! Armitra Esports proved their dominance in the qualifiers for the Gamepex tournament in Kościerzyna, leaving their opponents in no doubt. The team put in a phenomenal performance, confidently defeating all their opponents and finishing the qualifiers with a perfect 3–0 record. Their undisputed form clearly shows that they are unrivalled on this stage. Now it’s time for the LAN – will Armitra maintain their winning streak?
From start to finish – how did Armitra dominate the qualifiers?
- Armitra Esports 13:1 EXE
Although no live stream recordings of this match could be found, the result speaks for itself. According to Gamepex’s official Facebook page, Armitra Esports outclassed EXE, finishing the match with an impressive 13:1 scoreline. Although there is no information about the map, one thing is certain – Armitra didn’t give their opponents the slightest chance, confirming their excellent form in the qualifiers.
- Armitra Esports 13–4 Venom Vipers 2, Mirage
The second match was another masterclass from Armitra Esports and a display of absolute dominance over Venom Vipers’ second squad. This time, recordings of the live stream were available.
Right from the start, the match looked promising. Although Armitra lost the pistol round, they quickly imposed their own tempo on their opponents, building a significant lead. Venom Vipers only managed to fight back after losing as many as seven rounds, but this was merely a fleeting moment. Armitra comfortably closed out the first half with a score of 10:2, demonstrating complete control over the match.
After the sides switched, they managed to win the pistol round, but the next round went to their opponents, forcing Armitra to play an economy round. Fortunately, their comfortable lead allowed them to make this decision without taking any major risks. Despite this temporary setback, Armitra quickly regained their rhythm and did not concede a single round thereafter, closing out the match confidently.
Complete control, excellent strategy and self-confidence – Armitra has once again proved that it is well on the way to success.
- Armitra Esports 2:0 Venom Vipers
- 13:6, Dust 2
- 13:1, Train
The third match was a battle for Armitra to secure a perfect record and a guaranteed place at the LAN event in Kościerzyna. I don’t know who was responsible for the draw, but somehow it turned out that Armitra faced Venom Vipers for the second time in this tournament. This time, however, it wasn’t their second string, but their first team. Unfortunately for them, it made no difference – Armitra once again showed their class and comfortably closed out the series in two maps.
On the first map, Dust 2, Venom Vipers tried to put up a fight and initially put up a struggle, giving the impression of being more challenging opponents. The match was fairly even, and the first half ended 8–4 in Armitra’s favour. After the sides switched, however, Armitra took complete control of the game, almost entirely preventing their opponents from scoring any further points.
On the Train map, however, there was no longer any doubt as to who ruled the server. Armitra outclassed their rivals, winning 13–1. Venom Vipers were unable to respond to Armitra Esports’ aggressive and effective play, which made the match look like a “one-sided affair”.
With a performance like this, Armitra proved that their qualification for Gamepex was no fluke, but a well-deserved reward for their dominant form. Will they manage to crush the competition at the LAN event in Kościerzyna as well? We’ll find out very soon!
