Today we are informing you of an unfortunate incident that has occurred within one of our longest-standing partner organisations. Avalanche.gg has announced that it is suspending its activities and will no longer be able to compete this year.
It is also truly sad that the players have no intention of finishing ARRMY Open S11 and ESEA Open S51. Interestingly, given that the players had managed to secure a place in the playoffs, this marks the definitive end of Avalanche.gg in this line-up.
We know that the main reason for the squad’s break-up is, as most of you probably guessed, the players’ lack of time to play. The players had agreed to play a specific number of hours per week, but recently they haven’t been able to play as much as they’d like, and it’s also turned out that there’s no point in expecting any change in the near future regarding the players’ time to play.
We will certainly remember the organisation as one that was capable of surprising us, was well-organised, and had no major issues when it came to public disputes.
