Introducing the next batch of nominees for the ‘Superiongg Awards 2024’. Voting opens on 6 January. Among the nominees for Team of the Year are: The Separatists, Atom Esports, TNK Esports and Hooligans PL.
The Separatists is a club founded in 2021, which was initially an international club. The club’s status changed from international to almost entirely Polish in the spring of March 2023, when control of the club was handed over to Piotr “JarCze” Czerniawski, the current owner and manager. With the advent of crossplay in EAFC 24, the club was one of two PC scene clubs to receive a slot in the first VPG Poland League. The Separatists’ achievements on the virtual club scene include:
- Four consecutive runner-up finishes in the Polish ProLeague POL
- Winning the ProLeague POL Polish Cup in 2023
- 3rd place in the VPG Poland Second Division and promotion to the VPG Poland First Division following a successful play-off.
Atom Esport is a dynamic club that began its journey with VPG Poland in the third division on 27 October 2023. The project is relatively new, but throughout the EA FC 24 season, the team gained valuable experience and familiarity with the world of esports. The team competed in EA FC24 under the name Clepardia Kraków, playing in the VPG Polish 3rd Division.
- Participation in the VPG Poland 3rd Division
- Participation in the VPG Poland 2nd Division
The origins of TNK Esports date back to 2016, when our TNK president, Tomasz “Ambro” Ambroziak, set up a Facebook group in which he organised 1v1 FUT tournaments on PS3. It was there that the first members of TNK met, including Łukasz “kwiato91” Kwiatkowski and Kamil “GoesLikeHell” Ziemba. In 2020, the management took it a step further, refreshing their logo and changing the name to TNK E-sport – from the abbreviation Team Na Kacu. The club’s achievements include:
- 3rd place in the Pro Club League in 2020
- Participation in the EU leagues and VPG Polska 2nd Division.
Hooligans PL was founded by three friends in 2009, initially playing matches in seasons and competing against Polish teams via the in-game ranking. The club was officially established in 2010.
In subsequent editions of the game, HOOLIGANS PL took part in the Polish FVPA competitions, where they achieved significant success, regularly ranking among the top Polish clubs. They won the national runners-up title twice, and thanks to their strong league results, they qualified for European competitions. Contrary to expectations, they progressed from a very difficult group (considered the ‘group of death’) to the knockout stages.
After a two-year hiatus (FIFA 21 – FIFA 23), HOOLIGANS PL returned to competition. Unfortunately, in the first season following the introduction of cross-play (EA FC 24), the team was relegated to the second division due to squad issues. The team is currently still striving to return to the top flight. During its time in the league, the club has achieved the following:
- Multiple TOTW honours in the VPG Poland 2nd Division
- 4th place in the VPG Poland 2nd Division last season.
