Following their first two matches, which we covered in a separate article [link here], the VoFoxen Rising team went into their next matches in the ESEA Entry S55 league with a record of 1–1. One victory came about in rather unusual circumstances – via a walkover – whilst the second match, unfortunately, ended in defeat. Can such a start be considered a success? It certainly isn’t quite how they imagined the season would begin. Although the record doesn’t look too bad, the team was undoubtedly hoping for a more confident start to the competition.
In recent days, VoFoxen Rising have played three consecutive matches, which have provided plenty of excitement, mood swings and material for analysis. The team had the opportunity to face sides from Ukraine, Greece and Germany – each presented different challenges and exposed different aspects of the Polish side’s play.
A poor start, but great character
On 13 October 2025 at 8.30 pm, VoFoxen Rising faced the Ukrainian team BALENCIAGA. The match took place on the de_ancient map, and the course of the game was a real rollercoaster of emotions. Right from the opening rounds, it was clear that the Poles hadn’t got off to the best start. Their communication and pace of play seemed somewhat disorganised, which their opponents exploited meticulously.
By half-time, VoFoxen were trailing 2–10, a deficit that is extremely difficult to overturn in the MR24 format. However, after the break, the team showed tremendous character. Round by round, they regained their confidence, and their aggressive bombsite pushes began to pay off. Despite an impressive comeback and fighting right to the very end, they ultimately fell a few rounds short of securing victory. The match ended 11–13.
Although the result was disappointing, this match may have given the team something just as valuable – the realisation that it is possible to bounce back even from a very difficult situation. Had the start gone just a little better, the result could have been completely different.

A lesson learnt
Two days later, on 15 October, at the same time, VoFoxen Rising took to the game once more, this time against the Greek side WLGamingEsports. The map remained the same – de_ancient – but the match unfolded quite differently.
From the very first minutes, the Poles showed that they had learnt their lesson from the previous encounter. Their play was much more organised, with decisions made more quickly and confidently. By half-time, they were leading 8–4, and their control over the economy and the pace of the game left no room for doubt.
The second half unfolded entirely on their terms – even when their opponents tried to fight their way back into the game, VoFoxen wouldn’t let them get a foothold. Ultimately, the match ended 13–10; whilst the scoreline wasn’t particularly one-sided, the match appeared to be fully under their control.
This victory was extremely important not only for the team’s morale but also for their position in the table. It showed that the team can bounce back from defeat, keep a cool head and play consistently.

A tense match on Inferno
The last of the three matches described took place on 20 October 2025 at 20:30. VoFoxen Rising’s opponents were the German team Penta Nyl, and the arena for the clash this time was the classic map de_inferno.
From the outset, the match was more evenly matched than the previous ones, although the Germans were quicker to find their feet on the map. At half-time, VoFoxen were trailing 4–8, but despite the unfavourable scoreline, they remained in touch with their opponents. In the second half, the match picked up pace – there were more firefights, clutch plays and interesting tactical moves. Unfortunately, the closing stages belonged to Penta Nyl, who sealed the match with a 13–9 victory.
Although the result is nothing to write home about, VoFoxen’s performance was solid and, at times, genuinely promising. It’s clear that the team is finding its own style, and every match is a step towards greater consistency.

Time for a turnaround
After five matches, VoFoxen Rising’s record stands at 2–3. It’s not the ideal start to the season, but it doesn’t rule out their chances of success either. The team still has a realistic chance of turning things around and joining the fight for a place in the play-offs.
The next match takes place on 22 October at 8.30 pm, against the Turkish side LiskenClan. For the Polish team, this is the perfect opportunity to even their record and build a winning streak. Every victory in this part of the season could prove crucial, and the team’s motivation is immense.
If VoFoxen Rising play with the same determination they showed in the second half of their match against BALENCIAGA, whilst maintaining the tactical discipline they displayed against WLGamingEsports, there are still plenty of good moments ahead of them. This season could still be theirs.
