Ambitious teams always want to compete in the top leagues. It’s no different for our partner — Constrict Gaming, which is starting its ARRMY journey in the lowest league, the Open. It seems, however, that they may not stay in this league for long. The team’s players won their match in the third round of the play-offs for this very league. What does this mean for Robert Kubica of Constrict Gaming? It means that all they need to do is win their next match to move up a league to ARRMY Rising.
In the second round, Constrict Gaming hosted Misiaki’s team; we’ve already covered that match in this article. Let’s turn our attention for a moment to yesterday’s match, which kicked off at 7.00 pm. Constrict Gaming’s opponent was the Za Krzakiem team. The first map we watched was Train, which was selected by our partner. Ultimately, our partner won 13–7, putting them 1–0 ahead in maps.

The next map was Ancient, chosen by the “Za Krzakiem” team. As it was Za Krzakiem’s pick, it came as no surprise that they secured victory on it, with the final score 9–13.

After these fairly evenly matched maps, it was time for the decider: de_nuke. It would have seemed that we might witness a close contest here. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Constrict Gaming literally steamrollered the opposition. By the end, the scoreboard showed 13–2.

Constrict Gaming thus progressed to the fourth round. It was a fairly average match to watch, though it wasn’t a complete disaster. We got to see a decider map, which was definitely a plus, but the Za Krzakiem players didn’t put up much of a fight. We’re delighted that the Constrict players will be battling it out for promotion to the higher league in just a few days’ time; we wish them the best of luck.
Speaking of that match, their opponents will be “T SiDE ABUSERS”, who have already defeated teams such as UwU Gaming (2–0), Bruh (2–0) and Armaty Łysego (2–0) along the way. Interestingly, the opposition are ranked 31st in the Clutch Masters rankings, whilst Constrict Gaming are in 14th place, so on paper our partner should be the favourites for this match. In just a few days’ time, however, the match itself will put these ‘on-paper’ predictions to the test. The exact date of the match is not yet known. We do know, however, that it will take place between 11 and 15 April. The captains of both teams have over two days to agree on a mutually convenient date for the match.
