Team Exiters and their incredible start to the ARRMY Open League S10 season – does that still mean they’re not guaranteed a place in the play-offs?
Following the Exiters’ exceptionally strong start to the season, surely no one had any doubts that they would comfortably reach the play-offs this season. They began with a record of 6 wins and 0 defeats after some fairly convincing matches. Unfortunately, however, after six consecutive wins, they suffered their first setbacks. Their victories in the next three matches, held on 21 July, were taken away from them. If we were to speculate on the reason for this sudden slump across three matches, we would probably say it was down to the players’ extended break from competition. The last match before the defeat was played on 9 July, which would mean the players hadn’t had the chance to play in the league for just under two weeks. Despite this, Team Exiters still have a chance of making the play-offs. After ten league matches, they have a record of six wins and four losses, placing them 25th in the league, taking into account the number of rounds won.
