Following these matches, our partner with the yellow logo faced off against Sera Talent. The match took place last Tuesday (13 May) at 8.00 pm. In fact, our partner faced two teams that day, taking on PARTIZAN an hour later. Returning to the match against Sera Talent, the opponent is a team from Denmark – a country historically (in esports terms) unfriendly to the Poles.
Right from the start, we knew this would be one of those tough matches. The match was played on Dutch servers, on Anubis. The first half was dominated by our opponents, with the score standing at 2–10. With a score like that, most people would have predicted a quick finish in the second half. Nothing could have been further from the truth: Armitra Esports responded with an identical score in the second half, meaning we were guaranteed at least one overtime period in this match. What a rollercoaster!
In the overtime, it was the Polish team that came out on top.

Thanks to this victory, our partner has levelled their record to 5 wins and 5 defeats (5-5) and is closing in on the play-offs for this season’s ESEA Main. The next match took place an hour after the previous one had started (21:00). Partizan’s opponent was – and if you were to guess which country their opponents came from, you’d probably have a 50% chance of getting it right – either Russia or Serbia. This time, it was the former. The entire match was played on the Russians’ national map, dust2, with the server for this match set to Sweden. Armitra Esports certainly seem to be struggling to get off to a good start. Earlier, they lost the first half 2–10 to Sera Talent, and now 4–8 to Partizan. However, this time they didn’t return the favour in the second half, as there was no need for overtime in this match. Armitra won one more round in the second half and took the match 13–11.

It is worth noting that, individually, the whole team performed at a similar level. The player at the top of the table secured 19 eliminations, whilst the one at the bottom managed 16. This shows that the Armitra players performed as a united team.
With these victories, Armitra Esports has taken a big step towards the play-offs. However, qualifying for them will be difficult. This season, 48 teams will compete in the play-offs. At the moment, Armitra Esports are in 88th place, and a few hours ago the organisation announced changes to the squad. The coach will likely see out the rest of the season; this seems the most sensible option. Before moving to the coaching bench, he was the one representing Armitra as a player, so it shouldn’t be a disaster. Following this win, their record stands at 6-5.
Armitra Esports’ next matches are scheduled for next week. Of course, we’re assuming that neither team will request a rescheduling. On Tuesday (20/05) at 8.00 pm, they’ll face another of our partners, Young Starts Talents. The players on this team are also fighting for a place in the play-offs. You could even say they’re closer to Armitra, as they’re in 56th place. It’s shaping up to be an interesting match. If Armitra can bring their A-game to this fixture, it should be a thrilling spectacle.
When we launched the website (again), we never even imagined that a situation would arise where two of our partners would be playing against each other in a league as high-level as ESEA Main.

They will round off next week with a match against 2077ESPORTS on Wednesday. The match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (21/05) at 20:30. The opposing team is an explosive mix of nationalities: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and China. We hope, however, that Armitra Esports will keep that explosive temperament in check on the server.
