Nisła Raków are one step away from promotion to the Army Masters

- -

Nisla Rakov has had two thrilling days of competition in the open qualifiers for the 14th season of the Army Masters. On Tuesday, the team put in a solid performance, reaching the semi-finals, where, however, they had to concede defeat to their opponents. Just two days later, the players returned stronger and more determined. This time, they avoided their earlier mistakes and, through consistent play, reached the final. In doing so, they secured their place in the closed qualifiers, which represent the next stage on the road to the Masters division.

Although the open qualifiers are just the beginning of the journey, the style and determination that Nisla Rakov displayed in both qualifiers prove that the team can compete with the best. Their growing form and confidence give reason to believe that this is only the start of their march towards the top division of Arrma.

Nisła Raków’s debut in the open qualifiers for Arrma Masters S14

Nisla Rakov kicked off their first day of qualifiers with a bang. Right from the first round on the Ancient map, the team left TEAM KULKI in no doubt, winning comfortably 13-3. From the outset, the match was under the complete control of the Nisła players, who quickly set their own pace and did not allow their opponents to get into their stride. This victory not only secured a comfortable progression but also allowed the team to find their rhythm and get into the right tournament flow.

In the second round, it was time for a true display of strength. On Mirage, Nisla Rakov completely dominated Excurity Gaming, winning without dropping a single round. It was a display of focus and efficiency in every aspect of the game. The opponents had no chance to put up a fight, and Nisła looked like a team that is growing in confidence with every map in these qualifiers.

The third clash, played once again on Mirage, only confirmed that the team is in great form. Nisła continued their winning streak, comfortably defeating es como es 13-3. Another map under their control, confident plays, good communication and consistency in their gameplay. All of this made Nisla Rakov look like a team ready for the toughest challenges. After three confident wins, the team was already in full swing and entered the decisive matches with great optimism.

The battle for the final and a halt just short of the goal

In the quarter-finals, Nisła Raków faced Tuga Clan on the Nuke map. After the previous one-sided matches, this time the rivals made things a bit tougher. The start of the match was evenly balanced, but with each successive round, Nisła took the initiative more and more firmly. In doing so, they demonstrated experience and composure at key moments. Despite several fierce exchanges, it was Nisła who made better use of their chances, closing out the map with a score of 13:8. This match proved that the team can thrive not only in complete dominance but also in more demanding conditions, where patience and a cool head are what count.

The semi-final, however, turned out to be the final match of the first day of competition. On Ancient, Nisla Rakov faced a well-prepared AGENTYY team, who were in very solid form that day. The match was fierce from the start, with both teams trading rounds at a thrilling pace. In the decisive moments, however, it was the opponents who were better able to capitalise on their chances and maintain their lead until the end of the match. Despite an ambitious fight and attempts to turn the match around, Nisła had to concede defeat, losing 9–13.

Although they fell one step short of the final this time, the team ended their first day of qualifiers with their heads held high. Their style, determination and consistency clearly showed that Nisła Raków has not yet had its final say.

Nisła Raków’s return and the battle for a place in the closed qualifiers

After a short break, Nisla Rakov returned to action in Thursday’s open qualifiers to try their luck for a second time in the battle for a place in the closed stage. The team looked even more confident than before… From the very start, it was clear that the defeat in their first outing had only strengthened their determination. The players were focused, communication was flawless, and their play looked mature and consistent.

The first round brought a bye, which allowed the team to settle into the tournament rhythm and prepare mentally for the upcoming matches. In the second round, Nisła faced Anabolic Beasts on Mirage. The match was fiercely contested from the very start. Both teams battled point for point, but it was Nisla Rakov who kept their cool at the crucial moments. Thanks to their solid play, the team tipped the scales in their favour, winning 13-7. This match allowed the players to gain even more confidence and confirmed that they are ready for a longer run towards promotion.

The third match saw them face off against GeFlux 5: Statek Tezeusza on Ancient, where Nisla Rakov dictated the pace of the game from the outset. Map control, effective communication and confident decision-making meant that their opponents had virtually no chance of mounting a challenge. The match ended in a swift and confident 13-2 victory, which only strengthened Raków’s conviction that they were capable of great things that day. The team entered the decisive phase of the qualifiers in high spirits and with growing confidence in their ultimate success.

The home stretch and a particularly satisfying rematch

In the quarter-finals, Nisła faced KODZIRASY on the Mirage map. Although their rivals put up a tough fight, the team kept a cool head and consistently stuck to their plan. Ultimately, it was Nisła who managed to seize the initiative, effectively capitalising on their opponents’ mistakes and controlling the pace of the game. As a result, the match ended 13-10, and the team reached the semi-finals after one of the most demanding clashes of the day.

In the semi-finals, the time had come for the long-awaited rematch against AGENTYY… the very team that had ended their first run two days earlier. This time, Nisła looked exceptionally motivated from the start. The match on Ancient was full of excitement and evenly matched exchanges, with neither team willing to let up. Ultimately, regular time was not enough, which meant extra time. In it, Nisła showed the full extent of their skills, winning 16:12, symbolically avenging their earlier defeat and securing their place in the final.

Interestingly, the final itself was not played. The organisers decided that both teams, Nisla Rakov and DRAŻE, would advance directly to the closed qualifiers. For Nisła, this is a huge success and proof that consistency, teamwork and learning from previous setbacks really do pay off.
