On Thursday, we wrote about The Bulls Team’s potential title win in the VPL Poland Summer League in this article. On that very same day, our partner faced off against teams such as:
- vs. Ravens – 20:20, W.
- vs. Elektryczni Esport – 20:40, L.
- vs. Hornets Squat, 21:10, W.
- vs. GSK Esport, 21:30, L.
We already know the results and have a preview of the table. However, before that, it is worth acknowledging the players of The Bulls Team who were recognised for their inclusion in the team of the season for another tournament, the VPG Esports Premier.
- BEEQRR – right winger,
- Kacper055PL – centre-back,
- Chleb543 – centre-back,
- Lorenco_hp – goalkeeper
Congratulations!
Is this the championship or not?
It depends on how you look at it, from what perspective, but unfortunately The Bulls Team did not win the VPL Poland Summer League championship. Yesterday, in their second match, they faced GSK Esport. This match was crucial in this context. Unfortunately, our team lost 0-2, bearing in mind that GSK Esport had a game in hand; after this result, they were already 4 points clear. The team’s morale may well have taken a bit of a knock. Despite this, they still managed to win their last two matches of this VPL Poland season.
- 2-0 vs. Ravens,
- 0-2 vs. GSK Esport,
- 1-0 vs. Elektryczni Esport,
- 5-0 vs. Hornets Squad
How close were they?
The TBT players were just two points short of catching up with the leaders. Nevertheless, the players probably don’t feel all that disappointed. The battle for the championship went down to the wire, which shows just how evenly matched the competition was. The players themselves surely know what they need to improve to reduce the likelihood of such a tournament outcome. Nevertheless, the players deserve congratulations for their overall performance in this league this season. After all, silver is still a medal, and a rather nice one at that.
The Bulls finished the season with 68 points. 22 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. They scored 77 goals and conceded 10, giving a goal difference of +67. First-placed GSK Esport have 70 points, with 23 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. They scored 65 goals and conceded 9, giving a goal difference of +56. It is worth noting that this team has a run of 6 wins in a row, but that is nothing compared to our partner, who won 13 matches in a row in this league. They won their first match on 11 August against GSK Esport (1-0), and their last on 8 September against The Separatists, also 1-0.
This was likely our partner’s final tournament, and not just their last in EA Sports FC 25. We’re in for a few weeks’ wait until the major leagues and tournaments in EA Sports FC 26 kick off, and we’ll once again be able to marvel at our partners’ achievements – or so we hope.
