Underground Ranking Update | CS2 Community – 25 May

- -

May turned out to be another very busy month for the scene centred around the Underground | CS2 Community rankings. Since the last round-up on 5 May, there have been numerous changes in the table. Meanwhile, several teams have clearly made their mark thanks to regular appearances in tournaments and leagues. Project 91 continues to attract the most attention, having held the top spot throughout the month and steadily increased its points lead over the rest of the field. The battle behind the leader, however, was much more evenly matched.

Midway through the month, there were changes at the very top, with Ignis Five and Fast Layners swapping places on the podium. Atmosferka and TEAM PERUN also maintained consistent form, steadily racking up points. There was also plenty of action in the middle of the table. Among others, PIXEN Esports, NPK and Neksus Esports moved up the rankings, whilst several teams suffered significant drops following weaker weeks. There were also new names appearing in the standings… Which only goes to show that the ranking remains very open, with new teams regularly joining the fray in an attempt to make their mark on the scene.

Changes in the Underground | CS2 Community rankings from 11 and 18 May

The first May update since the previous round-up saw Project 91 consolidate its position above all else. The ranking leader increased its tally to 381 points and maintained its lead over the rest of the field. Behind them, however, there was a shake-up in the top three. Ignis Five moved up to second place, overtaking Fast Layners, who dropped to third. The situation also looked stable for Atmosferka and Legions Esport, who continued to hold their places among the very top of the table.

In the middle of the table, PIXEN Esports continued to improve. The team climbed as many as three places and began to close in on the top 10 of the rankings. Young Sharks and Neksus Esports also enjoyed a good week, moving up the table. Meanwhile, new teams appeared at the bottom of the table: NieLunacy and Quasar, who joined the rankings with zero points.

Rankings as of 11 May 2026

The latest update saw Project 91 extend their lead even further, increasing their tally to 452 points. This time, there was also another change on the podium. Fast Layners reclaimed second place at the expense of Ignis Five, whilst TEAM PERUN capitalised on Legions Esport’s dip in form to climb into the top five of the rankings.

Things were also looking increasingly positive for NONAME, which has now jumped to seventh place, overtaking Team Fairus and Lunacy Gaming. There was also considerable upheaval in the lower reaches of the table. Quasar climbed as many as nine places to reach 21st position, whilst OLEEE officially joined the rankings, debuting straight away in 20th place with 12 points.

Rankings as of 18 May 2026

OLEEE make a huge leap up the table, Project 91 remain top

The latest standings from 25 May once again confirmed Project 91’s dominance. The league leaders increased their tally to 476 points and maintained a comfortable lead over the rest of the field. The biggest surprise, however, was the emergence of Horizon Esports in second place with 335 points. The team jumped straight into the runner-up spot, pushing Ignis Five down to third place.

OLEEE also made a huge leap up the table. Just a week earlier, the team had been in 20th place, but has now jumped into the top 10, landing in ninth place with 124 points. This is undoubtedly one of the biggest jumps in both points and ranking position for the entire month. Among those to benefit from this was Lunacy Gaming, which moved up to eighth place, whilst Team Fairus has now slipped to 10th place.

Things are also looking increasingly positive for NPK and Neksus Esports. Both teams have made significant gains and are starting to close in on the middle of the table. At the other end of the table, however, are Young Sharks and Gromaz Esports, who have been steadily losing ground in recent weeks. It is also worth noting PIXEN Esports, which has held onto 11th place and is steadily building a lead over the teams just behind it.

Rankings as of 25 May 2026

The rankings are becoming increasingly tight

The end of May showed that the Underground | CS2 Community ranking remains extremely dynamic, and practically every week can bring major changes to the table. Although Project 91 currently seems unchallenged at the top, the battle for the places just behind them looks much more interesting. The point differences between many teams aren’t huge. That’s why a single good tournament could completely reshape the balance of power.

The race for places in the TOP 10 also looks set to be very exciting. OLEEE’s rise has shown that even teams outside the very top are capable of causing a major shake-up in the standings in a short space of time. The situation is similar for NPK and Neksus Esports, who are making their presence felt in the rankings with increasing clarity. If the coming weeks are just as intense, the June updates could bring even greater upheavals than those we witnessed throughout May.
