Monday at 8.00 pm is when the Underground rankings are updated in the UG CS2 Rankings tab. Usually on Tuesday (though not always), an article is published announcing the update to the aforementioned article. Today is no exception. Compared to the last update, one team, Spectra Esport, has dropped out of the rankings. Although one team has left the UG partner programme, two new teams have immediately joined the rankings. For reference, below is last week’s update (15 December 2025).
Yesterday’s update
Returning to the newcomers, yesterday’s update saw the arrival of “Atmosferka” and “Young Sharks”. For the former, this is a debut with a capital ‘D’. They are in 14th place, whilst Young Sharks are in second-last place.
The second-biggest climb in yesterday’s update was achieved by the “ex-VYCE Clan” team, which rose from 9th to 5th place. MiVORI, which had previously been in fourth place, now sits in fifth place following yesterday’s update. Team Fairus failed to qualify for the Arrmy Open S14 play-offs. Nevertheless, they managed to climb four places in our partner’s ranking (from 10th to 6th). Lunacy Gaming (previously #5), Ignis Five (previously #6), Team Perun (previously #7) and Anki’s Goats (previously #8) have all dropped two places.
There was also a swap in the partner rankings. Golden5 (-1) swapped places with NPK (+1). A similar shift could be observed between NPK II (+1) and 404 (-1), as well as between TW E-sports (+1) and COTIY (-1). Akademia Visionary (Veil) also made a significant leap up the table (+3). Previously ranked 24th, they are now in 21st place. Metric Mind also moved up one place.
Incidentally, we previously used the phrase “second-biggest rise” – why? The top spot in this regard belongs to “Team Kvas”, which climbed by as many as 12 places. This is probably the biggest rise since the change to the points system. The “WKEYEnjoyers” team also made a significant leap, moving up from #29 to #25. The positions of Montis E-sports and InHooxiWeTrust remain unchanged.
