Hussars are back on track! Three wins in a row and in great form in the ESEA Intermediate

- -

After a mixed start to the season, which we covered in our previous article, the Hussars are finally finding their rhythm. A run of three consecutive wins shows that the team is capable of learning from its earlier defeats and coming back stronger than before. Has this been the moment for the Hussars to go all out in the ESEA Intermediate? The last few weeks have certainly brought plenty of excitement, twists and turns, and moments that could completely change their position in the league. So, without further ado, let’s see how they fared in these three matches.

Three matches, three wins – Husaria are back on the winning track

Polska Hussars [13:8] 🇷🇸 Tenzije | Nuke

The last few weeks have been full of excitement for the Hussars, and a run of three consecutive victories has shown that the team is finally back on form. They began their return to the league on Nuke against Tenzije. After an evenly matched first half, the Poles began to take the initiative, gradually imposing their own tempo and limiting their opponents’ opportunities. Every round they won brought them closer to victory, and a few key moments in the closing stages gave them the edge they needed to seal a 13–8 win.

Polska Hussars [1:0] Rosja Awakers | walkover

The next match against the Awakers was surprisingly easy. Or, to be more precise, it didn’t take place… The opponents failed to appear on the server, which meant an automatic 1:0 victory for the Hussars. Although the lack of competition in this instance meant there was no excitement in the traditional sense, the team were able to use this break to maintain their rhythm and mentally prepare for the challenge that awaited them in their next match.

Polska Hussars [13:9] :de: Zyrex | Ancient

That challenge turned out to be a clash with Zyrex on Ancient. The Hussars started the match strongly and led 8:4 at half-time. However, this was no reason to rest on their laurels, and the second half demanded the players’ full concentration. Their opponents had no intention of letting up, and the tension in the closing stages was palpable. Ultimately, the Poles held on to their lead and won 13:9, demonstrating both their experience and their ability to keep their cool at crucial moments. This triumph not only kicks off a run of three victories; it also demonstrates that the team can rise to the occasion in tougher situations and maintain their form. This, in turn, offers hope for further successes.

Husaria face further challenges in ESEA Intermediate

This winning streak has allowed the Hussars to improve their record to 4–2 and sets the team on a path that could lead to even greater success in ESEA Intermediate. In their very next match, the Poles will face the Czech team Andromeda, who are also a strong side and are sure to pose a challenge. Will they manage to keep their winning streak going and extend their run of victories? We won’t know the answer until Tuesday.
