The new season for VPG Polska kicked off just over a week ago. Most teams have played three or four matches so far. This season, there is only one partner among the top-tier participants — YNG SKiLLZ. Today, we’ll be looking not only at this team, but also at The Separatists and Hooligans PL. The Vultures failed to impress with their skills last season and were relegated. In contrast, Hooligans PL, who previously competed in the third division, earned promotion to the second tier through their performances.

YNG SKiLLZ

Our partner with the pink logo is currently sitting in 11th place after four matches played. This is down to just one win; unfortunately, our partner lost the other three. They made a perfect start to the new season, winning 3–0 away against Shadow Spartans. In the next match, they faced Angry Wolves. It wasn’t quite as cheerful here, though it was a close call. YNG lost that match 1–2. The clash with Impact Boys wasn’t quite as evenly matched as the previous one, but we can’t say our partner suffered a humiliation here, though there was certainly a sense of disappointment. The most exciting match the YNG SKiLLZ players have played so far was probably the one against Dach Esport, at their own stadium. Five goals in the match, unfortunately three for the opposition.

3–0 vs. Shadow Spartans, W.
1–2 vs. Angry Wolves, L.
0–2 vs. Impact Boys, A.
2–3 vs. Dach Esport, A.

Among the results above, one stands out: the match against DACH Esport. This team is particularly noteworthy, as they were in the second division last season and now sit top of the league. YNG SKiLLZ face no easy opponents today. At 20:40 they face GSK Esport, and at 21:05 they take on The Bulls Team. All we can do is wish them luck.

vs. GSK Esport, 20:40 – D.
vs. The Bulls Team, 21:05 – W.

The Separatists

One tier below, The Separatists are in action; last season, they were competing in the top flight. What went wrong? It’s hard to say, as the Vultures have regularly been fighting for survival in recent times. It seems that this time they simply couldn’t stay up – as absurd as that sounds, those are the facts. There is a lot of pressure on the club, as such a relegation always brings with it a hunger to return to the top flight. We don’t know if it’s down to this pressure, but The Separatists have made a good start to the new season in the lower division.

So far, they have played four matches. Three of them ended in victory, and the fourth was a draw. Our partner has 10 points to their name, which puts them in third place. From the outset, The Separatists have shown that, when it comes to promotion, they will be considered favourites for good reason. In the first round, they faced another of our partners — Hooligans PL. The players from that team competed in the third division last season. They managed to beat the newcomers 4–2. Following that match, The Separatists faced MF Killers. A comfortable 3–0 away victory. They began the next match day with a win over ‘Brda Przechlewo’. The opposition failed to score, whilst conceding five goals. The first draw came in the clash with Vendetta PL, where both teams scored a goal each.

4–2 vs. Hooligans PL, W.
3–0 vs. MF Killers, W.
5–0 vs. Brda Przechlewo, A.
1–1 vs. Vendetta PL, A.

Today at 8.40 pm, they face Dark Ritual away. After that match, The Separatists will take on Banditos FC. This time at home.

vs. Dark Ritual, 8.40 pm – A.
vs. Banditos FC, 21:05 – H.

The Separatists

Hooligans EN

Hooligans PL are the newcomers to the second division this season. Last season, they managed to secure a play-off spot. They won those play-offs, and as a result, we can now watch them in the second division. Being the newcomers doesn’t always have to be difficult. Everyone sees you as the underdog; no one really expects much from you. Will Hooligans PL manage to surprise everyone and fight for a quick promotion? We don’t know that, but we do know that Hooligans PL’s start hasn’t been particularly good.

The club started just like YNG SKiLLZ, with 3 defeats and 1 win. The first defeat came as early as the first round, against The Separatists. In the second round, they faced the team ‘Mendeksy’. Though ‘faced’ is a bit of an exaggeration, as our partner were steamrollered, with Mendeksy winning the match 5–0. Their first win came in the third round, against Offside Crew. The opposition managed to score one goal, but our team scored three. In their most recent match, Hooligans PL also scored a goal, but only one, whilst their opponents (FC Shadow Stars) scored five.
