NSQ recently parted ways with almost all of its players, with Chaszcz remaining as the sole member of the squad. A few days before the start of the TiTo Cup tournament, they announced their new line-up. The line-up consists of: Chaszcz, Anasik, Szataaa and Afumo. These are the four players who will be permanent members of the squad, whilst Kizzzi will join the team as a stand-in for this one tournament. Prelo, who played with them during the Arrmy Open S13 regular season, will be joining them. So much for the changes; time to move on to the matches. In their first two matches, our partner secured a walkover, and it wasn’t until the semi-finals that they faced Pirtus Vro.
The battle for the final – NSQ vs Pirtus Vro
The semi-final began on a map chosen by Pirtus Vro. NSQ started on the defending side and managed to get off to a good start by winning the pistol round. They then went on to win the anti-eco round as well, taking a 2-0 lead. The opponents won the fourth round, but this didn’t throw our partner off their stride, and they continued their winning streak. This run lasted until the score reached 4-1, at which point the opponents pulled themselves together and managed to draw level and even take a 5-4 lead, but they couldn’t hold onto the lead for long, as NSQ responded immediately, levelling the score at 5-5. They even managed to take the lead after the 11th round, but by the end of the half, we saw a draw after all.
At the start of the second half of this map, our partner won the pistol round, which allowed them to begin a run of winning rounds that only ended when they were leading 10-6. The opponents woke up just in time and won the next two rounds. Despite this, NSQ once again won two rounds in a row and secured the map points for themselves. Our opponents fought fiercely to force overtime, but in the end our partner won the first map 13-11.

NSQ 13:11 Pirtus Vro
The second map chosen by NSQ was Inferno. This one didn’t start too well for our partner. They lost the pistol round and the first full round, which meant they were trailing 0:4. The opponents added another round to their tally, and NSQ began their comeback. They won three rounds in a row, after which the opponents replied with one. Following that, another three rounds were played, and the first half ended in a 6-6 draw.
The second half started well for our partner, who managed to win the pistol round and a force round played by the opponents, taking a 9-6 lead. Pirtus Vro managed to respond with just one round, and NSQ returned to winning ways. They took an 11-7 lead and it already looked as though our partner would run away with it, when suddenly there was a quick comeback from the opponents, who even brought the score to 10-11, at which point NSQ bagged the 12th point and had two match points. The first one completely fell flat, as did the second, and they had to go to overtime. It didn’t really matter, though, because in the tie-break, once they’d got a cash boost, they easily finished the map of their choice and booked their place in the TiTo Cup final.

The Final Showdown – NSQ vs Team Vision
It was time for the final, in which NSQ faced Team Vision; this team is on a par with our partner, and the match promised to be an interesting one. The first map chosen by our favourites was Mirage. They started on the TT side and got off to a flying start, winning the first round to take a 2-0 lead. That first full round win also gave them two more rounds, putting them 4-0 ahead. They didn’t stop there and kept pushing harder and harder, until at one point they were leading 8-0. Their opponents then managed to win the first round and added two more shortly after, but the first half still ended with a massive 9-3 lead for NSQ. The second half was no different, as our partner managed to win the pistol round and finish the map of their choice with a 13:3 victory.
MIRAGE

NSQ 13:3 Team Vision
The second map, this time chosen by Team Vision, was Ancient. NSQ feel at home on this map, as they had already shown in the semi-finals, and now that they were just one map away from winning the entire tournament, their motivation was even greater. It began with a victory in the pistol round and, shortly afterwards, a 4-0 lead. They didn’t stop there and added another round. Their opponents woke up slightly and scored their first point on this map, but immediately afterwards our team continued their dominance, bringing the score to 8-1. By the end of the first half, the opponents managed to win two more rounds, though NSQ still had a very comfortable lead going into the second half at 9-3.
The second pistol round went to our partner, putting them just one round away from victory. Taking that final step wasn’t so straightforward, however, as the rivals continued to put up a fight. In the end, NSQ achieved their goal and won the TiTo Cup tournament with a 2:0 victory over Team Vision in the final.
