Red Star Zenith Esports: a recap of their ESEA Open10 playoff campaign.

Red Star Zenith Esports is an organisation we haven’t written about for some time. We had suspended our collaboration due to a lack of activity on the organisation’s part, but we’re delighted that they’re back in action and we can once again report on their results, such as in the ESEA Open.

Red Star Zenith Esports made it through to the ESEA Open play-offs, but how did they get there? Naturally, we need to look back at the group stage, which was fairly smooth sailing, though there were a few slip-ups that may have caused a bit of tension. The Zenith Esports players finished the group stage with a record of 8 wins and 6 losses, securing 297th place and a spot in the main play-offs.

Following a successful group stage, Red Star Zenith Esports were set to play their first play-off match against Tiim, and the fixtures were as follows:

The players were knocked out of the upper bracket and dropped into the lower bracket, from where they still had a chance to advance to a higher division. They also had a bye, so everything was going perfectly until they had to face SPORTIA KHORE, who put in an incredible performance, with the result as follows:

The Red Star Zenith Esports players must come to terms with their defeat and prepare for the next tournaments in order to perform much better. Their adventure this season has now come to an end.
