The ups and downs of Saturlita Esport at the start of the ESEA season

- -

After several weeks of competition in the 55th season of ESEA Intermediate, the Saturlity Esport team has now played five matches. Although a 3–2 record looks good on paper, the matches themselves have been a rollercoaster ride. During this time, the team had the opportunity to face opponents of varying levels of experience, which allowed for a better assessment of the team’s current form. There were moments of complete dominance, but also matches where minor mistakes decided the final outcome. So let’s take a look at how the start of the season went for Saturlity.

Five matches, five different stories – this is how Saturlity Esport played

The opening matches and a reality check for Saturlity Esport

The start of the season for Saturlity Esport began calmly, though without the chance to test their form in practice. The French team secured their first victory against 13 AVG by walkover, which allowed them to enter the competition with a positive record and a bit of breathing space ahead of the next challenges. Although the match wasn’t played on the server, the points were valuable. Especially at the start of the season, when every result can determine a team’s position in the table.

The second match brought real competition and, unfortunately, the first setback. Facing the Italian team Puppatori, Saturlity had to concede defeat, losing 4:13 on the Dust 2 map. From the outset, the match did not go the French side’s way, as they failed to find an effective response to their opponents’ play. Although the result was clear-cut, the match served as a valuable lesson and a reminder that in ESEA Intermediate, every mistake quickly costs a round… And sometimes the whole match.

A confident victory, thrills on Train and more points for Saturlita Esport

However, the response was not long in coming. In their next match, Saturlita Esport showed a completely different side, thrashing the Portuguese UnderGround Esports 13-0, also on Dust 2. It was a display of total control and efficiency. A result that undoubtedly helped rebuild morale and served as a reminder that the team has the potential to dominate even at this level of competition.

The fourth match turned out to be the most evenly matched so far. The French faced off against the Danish side Zentrix Titan, and the encounter on the Train map provided plenty of excitement. After a fierce battle, Saturlity lost narrowly 11:13, falling behind literally in the final stretch. Despite the defeat, it was a match that showcased the team’s character and their ability to fight right to the very end.

The series of matches covered today concluded with another walkover victory. This time against Dziady_IV. As a result, Saturlity Esport can boast a fairly good 3–2 record, remaining in a solid position ahead of the coming weeks of competition. The French team has shown that it can both win impressively and learn from difficult moments. And that’s a good sign for the rest of the season.

What’s next for Saturlity in ESEA Intermediate?

The first few weeks of ESEA Intermediate have shown that Saturlity Esport has the potential to compete with any team in its division. The team has had its ups and downs, but it has also shown that it can come back stronger after unsuccessful matches. If the French side can maintain their momentum and learn from their previous matches, the coming weeks could bring some truly interesting results.
